I stayed on a recent Sunday evening, paying $45 for a single. Very close to Route 32 traffic; keeping the air conditioner on the fan setting created sufficient white noise so the traffic noise wasn't a problem. Room was basic; everything worked. Agreeable place if you're primarily looking for a bed. Breakfast offerings were coffee and prefab muffins; didn't have... More

My children and I needed a place to stay last minute. There was one room left it was priced at 149.00 for the night. I told him 120.00 was what I could pay. He accepted. However the toilet wouldn't flush and the tv volume was broke. I explained this to the manager in the am. He brushed me off and... More

I lived, went to school, and worked in beautiful Athens, OH for nearly 10 years, but left town for another job 7 years ago. After getting tired of couch surfing during my first 2 years of returning to Athens to visit, I began looking into local hotels to stay at. I stopped in and price-checked at the two new big... More

If you come here looking for a five star opulent hotel stay, you will leave disappointed. If you're looking for a place to sleep while you're in town for homecoming (as we do) or some other event and want a great deal, this is your motel. If you're a light sleeper, the highway noise might keep you up - it's... More

I have been coming to Athens since my son was at the Ohio University and have always stayed at this motel. It is located close to university on main highway and a small family run motel. Over the years they have been updating the motel and keeps it in line with current trends and amenities provided bu big guys. Hasu... More

I have stayed here several times...a little dated but clean. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. The free wi-fi, good slection of channels on the TV, and in room fridge make this a great place for the price. It is a short drive to the the downtown area for restaurants and shopping.

I have stayed here several times over the last 2 years. Nothing fancy but it works for me. The rooms are clean, the owners are friendly and very accommodating. If we need a late check out they make it work. The location provides easy access to our hunting lease in Albany. Also easy access in Athens for dinner or supplies.

e went to Athens for a college graduation in Nelsonville and stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It was dated - probably the 70's with an aqua colored tub, but it was clean, didn't smell bad and the owners are now going private as of June 2 and not associating themselves with Budget Host. If you are looking for an... More

This is an old hotel and it is a little hard to find and get to. The management is very polite and accommodating. It is also very clean for it's age. Bed was uh....old The prices were a little high for the value though. I probably would explore other places next time.
