Convenient location right off interstate and near many stores and restaurants. Despite supposed recent renovation, the hotel seems dated and tired. The lobby was okay but the rooms only average and the bathroom small. For the price, I was unimpressed. Front desk staff seemed more interested in flirting with younger guests and themselves or surfing the Internet! The breakfast buffet... more

We booked an overnight trip to just get away for a night with our kids; this is only 50 minutes from our home. Unfortunately, in October, there is no indoor swimming pool -- one of the reasons we wanted to get away. However, down the road you can use the Akron General Health & Wellness Center (show your room key)... more

A total renovation looked like it was about over. Really pretty now. The Hyde Park Steakhouse attached to the hotel made it easy for our business associates to meet nightly. We would stay there again. more

This stately old lady is getting a make-over and renovations were taking place while we were there. This did not affect our stay, however, just meant that we were in a nicely renovated room.
