When I'm working in the Asheboro area we always stay in this hotel. First the staff is so nice and accommodating you even get 2 beers when you check in before 7. The rooms are immaculate I still like a baby every time.

Overnight stay enroute to Myrtle Beach. Checked reviews on Tripadvisor, the reviews were good, so we stopped. No disappointments here. Very clean, well-kept facility staffed by friendly, helpful people. Rooms are just right for a short stay, nicely furnished and includes a refrigerator and microwave, a bonus! Breakfast in AM included and offered nice variety of food. All this for... More

We stopped here for the night before our visit to the N.C. Zoological Park. The room was clean and bright. The hotel staff very nice and extremely helpful. Free breakfast consisted of waffles, sausage, eggs, home fries, or cereal. If we're in the Asheboro area again, this will be our choice again.

I read some horrible reviews about this place but it wasn't all that bad. We went to the zoo and wanted to break it up into 2 days. Being financially challenged we opted for the cheapest place with a pool that served a hot breakfast. The breakfast on Sunday was a lot better than the one on Monday but they... More

I stayed here with my family on the way to Myrtle Beach, most hotels were booked and this one only had smoking rooms. The entire back hallway are smoking rooms, but the room itself didn't smell so bad. Comfy beds and pillows, clean bathroom, great breakfast, but the pool is small. I would recommend this hotel if you're just passing... More

All seems nice, but the nasty notes about a $20 charge for a missing towel, or no breakfast food allowed in your room are kind of big turn off's. The beds are really comfy, as are the pillows. The amount charged for the night is reasonable. Breakfast not so good. Canned gravy, hard biscuits. Yuck. Any way, not too bad,... More

We stopped here in June in route to Myrtle Beach. We had booked 2 rooms on choiceprivilages.com both non smoking. Upon arrival we were given smoking rooms even though we had booked non smoking. They said there was no nonsmoking left so we took our rooms because we were tired- we were placed in the back section of the hotel... More

Back in August 2012 we were relocating from Randleman (about 5 miles north) to north Asheboro, and toward the end of the transition neither place has electricity, so after the wife and our helpers stayed with our daughters, my youngest grandson and I decided to stay at the Comfort Inn........ after filling out the registration the clerk quoted the price,... Upon entering lobby to check in first impression was OK. Lobby, breakfast room , and gym looked nice. We were assigned a room in the 120's back section. Walked past a drunk traveling worker drinking beer on his tailgate into a vestibule. There were 3 doors that said employees only and the corridor door. The stench of chemical disinfectant was...
