We only stayed one night, but since they gave us a pull thru site, it made the overnight an easy one. We were shown to our site and were helped in setting up for the evening so that we could make an easy exit the next morning. Probably would stay there again when in transit.

Very friendly lady at the office informed us that this campground has been a family owned campground for 46 years - pity that the bathhouse reflects this totally ! It really could do with a major upgrade and, although relatively clean, it was so cold in the morning (doors left open all night and no heating in there), I did... More

The sites with 50 Amp are on a slight incline and look out over the rest of the campground. They are pull-thru and easy to get in and out of. We have a 40' 5 wheel, and the utilities fit us fine. We usually have to spend a little time levelling by driving onto the boards supplied, but that is... More

When we went here it was our first camping experiance with a travel trailer. We arrived and it was raining and cold. Backing up into our spot was a big challenge since i had only done this with a small boat over 20 years ago. The person in charge that day came out and helped me get backed in correctly.... More

We were there the weekend before Halloween and it was awesome. My son loved the trick or treating and hay ride however he did not go into the haunted house but other family members did and enjoyed it. Everyone was very friendly and neighborly and I hope to see everyone again this Halloween because we will be back. I highly... More

The tent sites were really rv sites, complete concrete hard soil under tons on gravel and rocks. Luckily we had tent stakes that we bought from the Army/Navy store, because our standard pegs were not a possibility. We completely broke our stake mallet and had to go borrow a heavy duty hammer to get get the damn things in the... More

Very nice campground. Looked like it was family owned and owners live on site in house at end of campground. Very well maintained close to the NC Zoo and other places such as restaurants. Has golf and pool onsite and gameroom. Was a little disappointed as they do not accept credit cards which would have been fine had we have... More

We just returned from a night at the Holly Bluff Campground in Asheboro, NC. I would avoid this campground at all cost unless you have an RV and know someone who lives there. It seemed everyone there, lived there. It does not look like the internet pictures at all! In order to get to the river, you have to climb... More
