Experience was wonderful. Food was amazing, views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Stayed in the Bike room and loved the views of the forest and garden. Best waffles I have every eaten. Chocolate chip cookies at night were awesome.

We visited the lodge September 10-12, 2014. It was our second trip to Bent Creek Lodge. Being from the Outer Banks we always get " the Outer Banks" room. The room only has a double bed, but it is cozy and we love the décor. Both times we stayed while Jodi and Doug were gone and there were interims innkeepers... More

This was our first time vacationing in North Carolina, and the best decision we made was selecting Bent Creek Lodge as our "temporary home" during our week stay. Once we checked in, took the tour of the spacious lodge, and settled into our room, we immediately fell in love with our surroundings and wished it wasn't "temporary". Not only was... More

Beautiful location just off the Parkway. Quiet and peaceful in a lovely building designed such that all the rooms have access outdoors. Welcome was good with drinks and cakes. Good information available. And a lovely breakfast served on the verandah as we were there in August. Could have stayed much longer without any problem. Thanks for a good but short... More

I was thoroughly disappointed in the angry and unwelcoming innkeepers. A beautiful bed and breakfast run by 2 individuals who obviously do not enjoy what they have created. Due to arriving later than they expected (10:30 pm) they treated us with disrespect throughout our stay. Running a great business requires flexibility and RESPECT. I would not recommend to anyone looking... More

I am sorry this guest had a bad experience at our "beautiful" lodge. As she said, she arrived after 10:30 without a call. Obviously she ignored what we told her when she made the reservation and our confirmation which explained our check in times and how to arrange a late check-in and the phone calls and emails we sent when... Our family has stayed at BCL for several years and the experience just keeps getting better. We love staying in the forest close to Asheville's activities, waking up to birds, colorful gardens, and best breakfasts. There are two living rooms to gather (one has pool table) and three large porches so you can always find a spot to relax. Small... More

This was the very best travel experience for my husband and me. The lodge was spacious, relatively new but rustic with personal touches in both the common areas and private rooms. The owners and staff really work hard at keeping the whole lodge very clean. Breakfasts were delicious! The grounds were lovely and very peaceful. What a change from muggy... More

What an absolutely refreshing, rejuvenating little weekend escape! Our incredibly welcoming hosts made every last detail just perfect. Our room was cozy and romantic with the most amazing view! A personal favorite was waking up to early morning coffee on the back balcony, overlooking the beautiful gardens and watching the birds come and go. Breakfast each day was delicious, and... More

It's a little bit of a drive to get into Asheville but this place couldn't be more worth it! The lodge itself is beautiful but the view off the back porch is just breath taking. The staff is warm and friendly and the breakfast surpassed all expectations! I'll be staying again!

The sellers are committed owners who do EVERYTHING well. The grounds surrounding the property are beautiful, the inside of the lodge is cozy and the food served for B&B is creative and tasty. I love people who are passionate about their work and these two are. The property is centrally located as we were only 15 minutes from Asheville, 10... More
