Stayed in the Honeymoon Cabin for 3 nights and had the BEST time! The cabin is the perfect size - very cozy and comfortable. I loved being able to see the river in front of us and the woods all around. The hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. The cabin was furnished with everything you need - lots... More

If you like that isolated, “get away from it all” feeling, this is the place to visit. If you want to have fun outdoors, this is the place to visit. Even if shopping, movies, and dinner is all you need for entertainment, Parkway Lane Cabins is in a convenient location to offer it all. Usually, I come here to write,... More

We had an absolutely lovely visit here. I booked later in the year, didn't get the cabin I would have preferred right on the river but had a delightful stay non the less! The owners overlook nothing to make their guests feel at home, yet respect their privacy and space. A couple of minor ( crappy weather related) issues were... More

My husband and I found Parkway Lane Cabins on an Asheville NC website. We absolutely loved the cabin! We booked Rocky River Cabin #4, right on the banks of the French Broad River. Beautiful river! Our cabin had a porch with table and chairs plus a hammock. Bbq grill is available. Inside the cabin cozy. Gas fireplace, well equipped kitchen,... More

I rented the River Cabin with hopes of a private, secluded weekend away from the city. Upon late arrival (as noted to the owners in advance), a note on the table from the owners indicated a screen would be installed on the sliding glass door at 9 am the following morning. This was the only communication I had received and... More

We Southerners are known for our Southern Hospitality when we meet civil minded people but here in North Carolina we are known as Tar Heels for not backing down from a bully or a fight. What the reviewer has not revealed is that the screen he referred to is a Phantom Screen. These are very special retractable screens we have... More

My husband and I stayed in the 100 yr old cabin the last week in August. It was just perfect for us and we really enjoyed our stay. This was a surprise getaway for him and he couldn't have been more thrilled about the cabin and the river. Great location, close to just about anywhere you want to go. We... More

We booked a Parkway Lane Cabin on the internet from the UK and it lived up to our expectations. The Allisons were welcoming and friendly, checking that we had everything we required. After a long drive down from New Jersey it was great to just sit on the veranda and enjoy the peace and quiet. The cabin was clean with... More

My wife surprised me with a great retreat to the mountains. We stayed in the 100 year cabin. It's very quaint, with bedroom and small kitchen. Loved fishing, walking and viewing the geese that roamed. River was very peaceful. We visited the arboretum and blue Ridge parkway, just up the road. Asheville was also a quick drive. Would definitely return,... More

we found this place on the internet, we were surprised how clean and adorable the cabins are. The privacy is great, widelife and the river are wonderful to watch. The location to ashville and surrounding areas were close and easy. We could cook any meal we wanted, the grill and deck is very relaxing. Floating down the river was refreshing.... More

Our stay at Parkway Lane Cabins was absolutely incredible: Broad River is at your doorstep-fishing at its finest. Privacy was never compromised-the cabins were very warm, cozy and well cared for. The location is great with many things to do for all ages. We were also very pleased that pets were welcome too. Our recommendations are most favorable. Two thumbs... More
