Everything was brilliant, staff were very friendly, great restaurant with huge discount, 2 nice pools both with bars, and a very reasonable supermarket. We've just returned from a relaxing break at Makumba Summer Gardens Aparts in Bitez. Overall, we had a great time and found the holiday as a whole to be very relaxing. On arrival to the makumba it looked ok.Then we got the keys to the room WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT?.We originaly asked for a pool view when we booked instead we were right at the back of the apartments room 1403.The view from our balcony was a white wall with a few weeds growing on the ground and the smell was terrible... more

This was my second visit to Makumba and what a disapointment! Our first room was looking at a blank wall, with 18 year old German and Dutch holidaymakers all around us. Staff living accommodation was next door so we were woken up with Turkish pop music and radio at 4am - and were not able to sleep until after midnight... more
