Dear Ercan and Gu. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality. I love that you accept 'guests' rather than 'customers' into your 'home'. We really enjoyed our stay and, as you saw, we hardly ever left the hotel! It s a perfect bolt hole to soak up the sunshine and do nothing.hope the changes you are considering work out. To anyone... This is a great little hotel and I heartily recommend it. We stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed it immensely. Simply furnished, it is set back from the main tourist areas, with wonderful views over the bay. There are 6 very large suites. We had the two top suites, with large balcony and you should try to book these... More

Only a week in Turkey and only two nights at the Aegean Gate. Could have stayed much longer. This is a wonderful little hotel tucked away in the back streets at the quieter, eastern part of Bodrum. Only a leisurely 15 minute walk away from the beginning of Bodrum harbour. Aegean Gate has clean, spacious rooms. An excellent swimming pool/small... More

I reviewed them on Booking.com, and thought it would be fair to post it here too: Like everyone else has stated, the staff at Aegean Gate is wonderful - the owner was always on hand to give us advice, answer any questions, and help us out with anything we needed. His second-in-command was super charming, always ready with a smile.... More

We loved escaping the busyness and heat of the Summer when visiting the coastal town of Bodrum and retreating to the spectacular boutique hotel,Aegeangate. It reminded us of Camps bay ,Cape Town ,back home, being built in amongst beautiful, huge natural rocks overlooking the magnificent views of the sea,bay and town. The new owner,Ercan,as well as Sevi, the manageress and her assistant Gucci definitely... More

Aegean Hotel is super! All the good you read is absolutely true. Very sweet staff (dont believe the few negative remarks because the hotel has a new owner, who is the sweetest guy ever) beautiful view, super relaxed and silent but still only few minutes away from the hectic noisy Bodrum centre. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a lovely time in 2011 when the hotel was run by previous owners, so we didn't know what to expect when we found out that new owners had taken over this year. But is was as wonderful as it had been 4 years ago. This time the weather was much hotter and we used the pool which we... More

Great retreat with spacious suites and fantastic hosts!!! Breakfast and meals with Aegean views and quite nights are to be treasured! If you are driving yourself make sure you have a Sat-Nav with the correct address to go there. Not easy to find especially at night. Sevi Akdemir, the Manager/Hostess, is great and will make your stay special!

We cannot say enough to recommend the Aegean Gate in Bodrum. What was meant to be a stop-over on the way from Istanbul to a chartered boat in Marmaris instead became a perfect stay in this delightful boutique hotel. Bodrum can be boisterous and a bit rough-and-tumble, and, while this hotel is within walking distance of all the shopping, museums,... More

Oh my gosh. This is just heavenly. Really enjoyed our stay (friend and I) amazing view, beautiful room, cute doggy and such helpful staff. Easy walk into Bodrum but distant enough to truly feel the peace of the hills. Would definitely go back / recommend :) x
