When you have been touring Roam ruins or visiting Lycian tombs and all you want to do is relax somewhere, possibly avopiding even the crowds on the beach, this hotel is for you. From the moment you walk in you will be welcomed, assisted to your room which will be bright, will overlook the Agean sea with the Greek Island... more

Hotel Manastir looks good but the reality is that is pretty darn awful. On arrival we discovered that there were no lifts; no extra pillows and a couple of the lights didn't work. Then we discovered the plaster falling off the walls, the filthy shower - so bad we took photos of it; torn & frayed sheets. On the good... more

Having read CatMammas review it was with a little trepedation that we arrived at the Manastir. Initially we were allocated room 413, I guess this was CatMammas Room, and yes it does have its problems. We quickly transferred to another room and the rest of the holiday was great. Staff very attentive, Chamber Maid excellent as were Reception and Resaurant... more

It is a pity what´s happening in this Hotel. Its view over the city of Bodrum is fantastic, the buildings (they say it was an ancient greek monastery) are very original, and the restaurant is still a very good one. This said, why don´t they have a look at the sewage pipes ? Our room was on the lowest level... more

It was the only hotel in the Frommers guide under 120Euro and availbale the same night in Bodrum... so I checked in. Ended up paying 80 TYL a night (about $60 USD) incl breakfast. I did have a room with a balcony, very nice. The bathroom was average, however the room was large, the balcony made it seem larger and... more

The hotel is just perfect for us (a 40+ couple). The rooms were very nice, the beds a little harder than we were used to. The shower with bath is also perfect. A steady flow of water at a steady temperature. The airco was working perfectly. It was quiet and working 24/7. With outside temperatures of 45+ degrees centigrade, the... more

My cousin and I booked the Hotel Manastir via Lastminute.com, going by their picture of the pool and the magnificient views of St. Peter's Castle. I have to say we were disappointed with our twin room. It looked in need of a good lick of paint to brighten it up - but never mind it was clean and comfortable. Then... more

Went here with my sister for a weeks chill-out. Booked flight from cardiff to Bodrum and haveing not been to this resort before, although I have been to Turkey many times, thought a Hotel away from the hustle and bustle would be better. The taxi was £30, took 35/40 mins to get to Hotel. For a 4 star in Turkey... more

Definitely not a family hotel, as there is nothing for children to do, apart from swim in the undersized pool. No evening entertainment provided. There is a VERY steep climb on the path to/ from the hotel to the beach front (the beach is not worth visiting), so heels are a big no-no. However, the climb does allow for fantastic... more

We stayed here for a week after booking lastminute, looking for a pleasant, relaxing week. The staff were friendly enough, although the language barrier was a problem, especially with the waiting staff. The food was poor. Myself and my girlfriend both had food poisoning during our stay. You have to pay for your own drinks in the evening too, and... more
