We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Ankara to see Ataturk Mausoleum and The Museum of Anatolian Civilisation (the latter is less than 200m away). It is a sensitively restored caravanserai with a covered courtyard. Rooms were tastefully decorated, with walk-in shower, with a Nespresso coffee machine, but bizarrely no fridge. Service could be a great deal better. The... More

The hotel is beautiful. Our room and the bathroom was amazing. very quite place, right opposite Ankara Kalesi and next to a museum. 5-10 mins drive from the city centre. its also right inside the old part of the city, which gives you access to alot of cool and cosy cafes and shops. The only issue was their staffing. there... More

I so wanted to be able to give this hotel a excellent review, but jut a few things let it down. The building is brilliant - converted caravanserai, great covered central courtyard / atrium. The location is great. Free parking right outside. The rooms are well decorated and the overall atmosphere of the place is very calm. I found the... More

The place is beautiful. It's strange when you arrive though, staff (one person at a time) aren't the best. Service not very good. It's great if you just want to sit and do nothing, but location is far away from most things. I would not use this place again

The Divan Cukurhan is an artistically modernized caravanserai located high on Ankara's Castle hill. My wife and I stayed there for two nights in September, 2013. The booking was made directly and efficiently via the hotel's website. Valet parking of our rental car was courteous and convenient. Our "deluxe king room" left nothing to be desired. Breakfasts, served graciously in... More

Divan Cukurhan is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. The personnel was very friendly and helpful, excellent room- and restaurant service. Perfectly equipped rooms, very comfortable and quiet. Great food ! The fitness-center is well equipped and everything was working at up to date standard. Perfect stay !

We stayed here for two nights. We were given Room 205, a lovely corner room with views over Ankara and the museum building site next door. The noise from the construction did not greatly trouble us as it started after we awoke. The double glazing helped too. The room was a good size with a sofa seating area, large and... More

Had a wonderful stay at the speciality hotel. Love the suite that we given during our stay there. My friend enjoy her first time sleeping on a four poster bed. The bathroom is to dream for. Enjoy my stay there and manage to visit the museum adjacent to the hotel.

The hotel is in the restored building of the caravanserais, the public areas are huge pleasant spaces. Each room has a different theme, all are big, some are giant and the bathrooms are spectacular. The beds, bed linen and pillows are gorgeous, really excellent. There was coffee, Nespresso machine and a kettle. It was a pity to leave the room.... More
