Met here for a group meeting of friends. We had the evening set menu. Portion were just the right size beautifully presented and very tasty. The service was superb the waiters couldn't do enough to help but also knew when to hang back and were not over intrusive.

I spent 2 nights at the hotel. It is supposed to be very attractive but it depends on whether you like to live in a 16th century setting nowadays. The hotel is situated at the foot of the historical fortress hill of the city but it is rather isolated in daytime and really scary in the night. The hotel is... More

I have been here in Jan 2016. So beautiful. Small, Chic and clean. Very polite staff. Calm, good restaurant. Near to the museums and the castle. Ideal for business and touristic travels. Best hotel I stayed in Ankara. I really loved the ambience.

The hotel is in a beautifully restored caravanserai near the castle, museums, and historic district. We had a huge room with a very spacious bathroom which almost made us want to spend all our time there. The lobby is very large and also an enjoyable place to spend some time over drinks with friends. They serve a very good Turkish... More

The old but beautifully renovated karvansarai was our heaven in Ankara during our 4-day stay. The location was also a great one neighbouring the old town full of small antique shops and old tea houses. The staff was so friendly and humble. Rooms were decorated in 18th century style. It also has a library room in the lobby. Comfortable bed... More

Rooms were comfortable with all the amenities that you need or look for while staying at a hotel. Rest assured, the museum itself, its history and perfect service comes as other bonuses. If you are visiting Ankara either for business or traveling; this is definitely the best option with its walking distance Ankara Castle and Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

This place is fabulous! For a bargain price, a night in luxury, surrounded by historical mementos both inside and outside the hotel. After a late-night check-in, they gave us a late check-out with no problem. The room was huge and the bathroom almost the size of the bedroom. There is a nespresso machine in the room with 3 capsules--one even... More

The building is at least 500 years old but has been thoroughly modernized. The hotel is next door to the Museum of Anatolian Civilization, which is a truly unique and amazing museum of humans before Roman times (not to be missed). Likewise the castle is also across the street. In short, you are at the center of ancient Ankara. The... More

As per all reviews here the place is Devine. It is a living museum and exquisitely decorated. The rooms are well appointed with decent size bathrooms which make a change from the previous 5 weeks we have spent in Turkey. I would have loved to have rated this more highly but .... - intermittent wi fi - rooms very warm... More

If you like staying in places with local flavour then you'll love this! Lots of fun artefacts and artworks adorn the rooms and central area. Comfy bed, nice room, views over the city. Staff speak good English and very polite and helpful. Wifi excellent. Located right outside the citadel entrance.
