Great location in the old city, in front of the Citadel, very close to the Museum of Anatolian Civilisation. The patio is peacefull, with water and quite music. Feel like a "Bey" in the pure Ottoman style in the beautifull, well furnished rooms. Big Bathrooms. Lovely place and very good Breakfast, even if expensive. Well restored old building.

We stayed for 3 nights while in Ankara. The hotel is a restored caravensarai and an absolute gem. It is about 1.5kms from the train station, and 200m from the Anatolian Civilisation Museum. Our deluxe room was spacious, beautifully decorated and looked out to the main gate of the citadel. The staff are very helpful, and if they don't understand... More

Located next to the citadel, this hotel truly deserves its stellar ratings. It does offer five star service and comfort in a beautifully restored and decorated historical building. With only a dozen rooms or so, it is also a far cry from the typical "chain hotels". Really loved staying here.

The hotel was beautiful, with gorgeous decorations almost make you feel you are in a museum. The room and bathroom are way better than our expectation. The staffs are also friendly and helpful. The location is a bit far away from the center, but it was ok for us since we wanted to visit Ankara Castle anyway.

Beautifully decorated. Felt like staying in a museum. Egg benedict and coffee was good. Service was good. They drove us to the train station to purchase tickets with a small fee because the website was not working. You can walk Anatolian museum. I will stay again if I go back.

Surprisingly peaceful. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city outside, It felt that we were entering a different world inside every time we went back to our room. The hotel felt like a museum, It was beautifully decorated, using the most beautiful marble in the bath, the toiletries were charming in its packaging. The staff was friendly and helpful... More

An amazing hotel- accommodations, staff, location. We could not have been happier. While not all of the staff can speak English, someone will soon be found who does We are told that each room is different , ours was large and very comfortable. We overlooked the gate to the old city and the adjacent small nut/spice market. The hotel is... More

Roughly 150 USD a night and right in front of one of the gates to the old town We like : -Beautiful restored-to-perfection house, even if at closer look, looks more like a museum of something, than an artistic decoration. -Our standard room is beautiful and comfortable, it comes with a large and drop dead bed, very nice marble bathroom... The decoration of the room in specific and the hotel in general provides the guests with an authentic atmosphere of the historical face of Ankara. The hotel is very clean in general. It is not congested with tourists; therefore, we could enjoy a silent stay. The concierge is very professional. All our expectations are well met. There was no mini-bar... More

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting Ankara to see Ataturk Mausoleum and The Museum of Anatolian Civilisation (the latter is less than 200m away). It is a sensitively restored caravanserai with a covered courtyard. Rooms were tastefully decorated, with walk-in shower, with a Nespresso coffee machine, but bizarrely no fridge. Service could be a great deal better. The... More
