I just cannot tell you how perfect it was for us -- the setting, Rob & Phil, just all of it. The pictures online, as gorgeous as they are, do not do the grounds justice. Rob also worked with us on pricing and honored housing/accommodation issues we needed. Phil and the staff put on a culinary show!!! As if this... More

My family and my new grandson's family and all their friends just had the pleasure of celebrating their wedding at one of the most hospitable, beautifully landscaped mountain resorts ever! The Accomodations, personal service, and gourmet food was beyond words! The available settings for the ceremony were numerous. All of the food presentations were noteworthy, each meal from breakfast to... More

Hawkesdene is a little piece of paradise, a 33-acre estate tucked into a cove in the mountains of western North Carolina. The 9000 sq. ft. main house offers a sophisticated, yet comfortable and inviting, appeal where comfort and casual elegance prevail. The self-contained cottages sit amongst a lush backdrop of mountains & trees, beautifully manicured gardens, the sparkling waters of... More

Our daughter was married here in June 2013. We rented the entire lodge for a week-end, with family and closest friends in attendance. When we drove in, the grounds were stunning, particularly since we had seen them in late fall when most things were not in bloom. The lodge and cabins were immaculate and inviting, and there wasn't one thing... More

We attended my niece's wedding last weekend (9/5/13-9/8/13). They rented the property for all 4 nights so both families could spend the weekend together; there were 50 guests. The accommodations and the food were spectacular. We hiked up to the observatory on one of the trails within the property but couldn't make it to Hidden Falls. The view was amazing!... More

My son had his wedding here this past weekend(08/10/13) and I was astonished at how well everything went. He booked the entire estate from Friday till Sunday. From the excellent food, exceptional rooms, beautiful grounds, spacious cottages, every detail was perfect. Not one of the 120 guest had even a single complaint. We have been to many NY weddings that... More

We were married August 3, 2013 at the Hawkesdene House with 50 guests. What an amazing experience! We opted to rent the property for three nights to help keep our guests together and provide a relaxing experience for all. This was the best decision we made.
