This is the place to camp!!!! Great campsites and so peaceful to fall asleep with the sound of the creek gruggling by. The owners are such friendly people and take that extra effort to make this a truly pleasant camping experience. The bathhouse is immaculate and youcan be sure that the peace and quiet of being in the woods won't... More

If having wifi, electricity, and nice bathrooms are important, this is the place to camp for you. If you want to camp to have some peace and quiet, in a relatively secluded site, with enough actual space to put more than only a 2 man tent, this isn't it. The proprietors were nice enough, and the location was clean, but... More

Stayed here with about 20 people doing a family/friend weekend . Once it was dark, the kids (about 8 of them) wanted to play hide and seek, but were told they couldn't. Not even 9 pm. Also the walk to the bathroom , up hill, at 3 in the morning is awful !! It's very clean , but not really... More

This is a gem of a campground. Most all of the sites are along a nice little mountain stream. The bathrooms are extremely nice. They are very clean and all tile. There is a small game room with a pool table. The lake is a short hike and we found a nice place to swim just across the railroad tracks... More

I have used this campground for 20 years and have never been disappointed. There are fresh baked goods and fresh brewed coffee in the morning and the no noise after 10 pm policy is enforced. Firewood and ice are always available and the bathrooms/showers are kept clean and in good functional use. Mike and Ramelle will work with you to... More

I used to camp here years ago and recently returned - it had always been nice and clean and the owners friendly. They have since made some additions and renovations. The bathrooms, in particular, are wonderful - well thought out with campers in mind. The sites are roomy and many are suitable for hammocks. The coffee and baked goods at... More

We have been staying @ Turkey Creek for about 3 years now. It has become our annual week-long getaway to the mountains. Before we even check out from our stay, we are already planning our next visit! The campground is well kept, the Smiths are friendly courteous hosts, and Huey the dog is a great ambassador! The bathrooms are a... More

We stayed two nights here in our 18ft camper. Next trip to the Smokies, we'll just come straight here and stay a week. This is NOT a KOA. If you're looking for that, or if you have a big rig, you will not be happy. This is one step up from primitive. To me that's a good thing. It's very... More

This was our second time at TC and we stayed six nights. The Smiths are genuine hosts. They give the campers privacy unlock a lot of privately owned campgrounds. TC is is very well maintained and quiet hours are strictly enforced which this late sleeper enjoys. There is a fast glowing creek that runs through the campground, if you can... More
