I stayed here because a friend of mine hosting me lived close buy. The property is older, the beds are ok. They didn't clean the bathroom while I was there and forgot to leave towels, but the convenience of the property is what I needed. I did not try the restaurant or free breakfast.

The location leaves a lot to be desired unless you are really on a tight budget. The area attracts a lot of spooky people. There are prostitutes in the hallway with their pimps! While the employees are friendly and cordial the rooms are really dated. I have heard from a former insider that the 'new management' is very much incompetent.... More

Great value for money if book it online, about $30/night double bed with breakfast including free cable TV on old tube type TV. Free Internet on each floor's lobby areas only. Beds are poor made of foam (that needs replacing) placed atop a wooden base board. WARNING at checkout make sure you aren't charged the full rate if you book... More

If yoy're left with no other options, this is the place for you. When I checked in, room service is poor because they lack staff, food choices are poor because their last chef left, room were I stayed (standard) is too small but the ac was very cold. No hot shower. No wi-fi at my floor. But the friendly staff... More

This is an old building, but their effort to modernize can be seen in the lobby. When you get to the stairs and the room, however, the hotel's age is evident. The room is cramped up, there's a noisy airconditioner and a small, bulky tv that's a bit far from the bed, that you'll have to squint to see what... More

I 've chosen the hotel because of its proximity to where my friends/family live. I shall stay here again as this is 'best' hotel within walking distance. I have a funny feeling that the hotel pics of the rooms were taken when the hotel was very new, and therefore came to me as a surprise when I saw it. There... More

Whenever summer approaches, the first question that comes to my mind is where can I cool down? Much as I want to go to a resort, sometimes time and budget aren't there to support you. So, I go to the net and look for decent hotels that are within your budget to stay just for a night. To enjoy unlimited... More

The Orange Place is okay, if you're on a budget, not too fussy about location. I got their regular room, which was okay, rather small, but it seemed well-kept, and clean. The same could be said about the tiny toilet and shower. If you stay at the Orange Place, make sure you bring your own toiletries, as what they provide... More

We stayed here as a couple on a holiday vacation from the United Kingdom. Since this was planned to be a long vacation of three weeks I had a budget to stick to but also wanted a place that offered quality. I am glad to say that the Orange Place hotel meets these criterias. Having not been on holiday to... More

The staff at Orange Place made us feel very welcome. During our two week stay, it seemed like we were home away from home. The staff are the friendliest we have ever met. The hotel was central to transport and the malls. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend them to all our family... More
