I was in Quezon City for two weeks building houses with Habitat Philippines. We were a group of 13 volunteers from the US and we found this hotel to be (a) clean (b) very accommodating staff, friendly and helpful (c) a great low cost option. There is not much to see or do within walking distance, but the neighborhood is... More

While in the Philippines for work, the Fersal on Kalayaan messed up our reservation and we ended up at the Malakas Street Fersal - and we were glad for it! The hotel was clean, well appointed, in an okay location and offered free breakfast. All in all, an okay value for money.

i'm quite focused on service and cleanliness. while other staff seemed ok, the receptionist was perpetually on the phone and i could not get through from the room to call. and even when right in front of her, the phone was more important. i dont like their no advanced breakfast pack for earlier than 6am check out. most hotels do... I stayed here while visiting family for the first time in the Philippines. It was conveniently located in the same neighborhood as my family. It is really easy to get a taxi to and from here or if you are more adventurous, using the "Tricycle" to get around. I stayed for a few nights, then traveled around and came back... More

I stayed with a group last July, it was my second stay at the Fersal and I was not disappointed. The hotel is located on a quiet street with banking, convenience stores and good restaurants a short walk away. The rooms are clean with a decent bathroom, functioning air conditioning and fridge. The rooms have the basic amenities, cable TV,... More

I stayed here because it was arranged by my friends who were committee of Fantasy Quest - a cosplay event in Philippines. The hotel was everything you'd expect from a budget hotel. The room and the bathroom was small, but at least there were enough space for me to put our suitcases and boxes of costumes and props. I'd also... More

I have lived in the Philippines for over two years. I have stayed in or visited friends staying in many hotels in the Metro Manila area. When friends from America visit in the past I have steered them to the Fersal Hotel Malakas Diliman. In fact I am now back in America but when I visit I will be booking... More

The Fersal hotel was arranged by our mentors from the university as we started our studyjourney in the Philippines in Manila. We stayed 3 nights. Slept in the streetviewroom on the first floor with 2 fellow-students. The room was overall noisey due tot chaotic Manila-Traffic in combination with the airco. But everything worked fine. Staff was friendly, breakfast (and Filipino-food... More

Had the longest stay in a hotel at Fersal.I love the fact that they consistently clean the rooms everyday and change the beddings and towels. Nice location too. It is near the Heart Center, McDonalds, BPI, Quezon City Hall and Quezon Memorial Circle. I had wonderful memories here and super fun socials where the hotel provided the cocktails.
