I spent a week in this hotel in December while on a business trip. The hotel is pleasantly decorated and fairly clean. The food is nice and has a good breakfast buffet. The staff are friendly, although the reception desk is terribly slow, allow good half hour for checking out. The main issue with this hotel is noise. The corridors... More

The Sulo Riviera is 30-90 minutes away from the Manila airport, depending on traffic, which is notoriously congested. The Hotel is situated near the University of the Philippines at Diliman. There's little in the way of dining or shopping opportunities within walking distance, but relatively short (in distance, not time) cab rides provide lots of options. The hotel lobby was... More

Been here a couple of times, even before it got renovated but the last time I went here was last November for an Awards Ceremony. Over-all, I would say that we had a very good stay there. As organizers, we got there early to set-up our trophies and laptops, etc but we were surprised to see that the room was... More

We stayed at Sulo Hotel last April 2014 for 3 days and 2 nights for my university graduation. We booked 3 rooms on the ground floor right across the hotel lounge/buffet. Since I earlier I was tasked to secure a hotel reservation for my family, I checked out different hotels near our campus and aside from the University Hotel, Sulo... More

It was worst experience i had in this hotel. Worst is a small word. It started from the very first day itself, when hotel shuttle did not reached airport for pickup and we were not informed, had to struggle to get a cab. Hotel wifi is just for name, no use of connection. Food menu just keep on repeating for... More

Very pathetic hotel, the wifi is good for nothing, breakfast keep repeating the whole month, facilities are like u just keep waiting for ever, you can not have a sound sleep coz it is near the hospital and main market, no lift, also there... Awful hotel and low cost service for a hotel like that, by example no kettle in the room and amenities for just one person. The room was very dark and small, the flat TV is comparable to a laptop, and there was a problem with the flush of toilet, not repaired despite our request. But the more nightmare concerned our... A simple hotel is (or should always be): the guest pays for a room, and this room should provide a quite space. Whether one is on holiday or needs to recharge after a day of work, the room must offer the possibility to rest. The Sulo, as others have noted before, simply doesn’t get it. It’s overall a nice enough... More

My car was hit by the valet attendant and he just laughed about. I told the people at the concierge but didnt get any resolution the whole day. Worst, the valet attendant that hit me just laughed it off throughout the ordeal, no apologies from his end or from the hotel. Maybe the frontliners should be trained again on how... More

The Sulo Riviera hotel is good: the environment is nice, clean enough, elegant, food is good and staff always very kind and polite. But there are a few problems: - quite often there are weddings or birthday parties and the hotel becomes very noisy - I had a few problems with room appliances: no hot water, air condition not working...
