Stayed here for one night. The hotel's building is leftover from the 80s (or 70s?), but remodeled inside and out. My room was not ready for me when I arrived, so I had to wait a few hours, despite arriving during check-in time, and making my reservation months ago. Rooms are OK, as was the pool. The toilet in my... more

Good hotel in Makati, stayed there in total 3 nights. Rooms are large enough, with good large beds. Good breakfast with ample choice, although it can get crowdy in the morning. Good swimming pool although a bit noisy since only on the first floor so you catch a lot of traffic noise. Staff is helpful and to Filipino standards professional.... more

There is actually nothing seriously wrong about this hotel, but three issues bugged me: One. For some reason, all guests are greeted in Thai. I am still unused to being greeted "Sa-wad-dii-khrap" instead of "Mabuhay" (we are in Philippines after all, duh). It would have been better if Dusit Thani (even if they are owned by Thais) adapt and promote... more

I stayed at the Dusit Thani Manila for 3 nights, one of the nights was paid for by Cathay Pacific, I think maybe there is an upgrade given to the Cathay Client for its own Guests, I think this due to having 2 more nights in another room which was not as large as the other. Food in the Thai... more

For the past 3 years my parents (in their 60's) have been staying at this hotel. This year my sister and I decided to join them on their annual trip to the Philippines (my mother is from Leyte). Good about hotel - Spa - great service. Pricey for Manila but still cheap for 5 star service in luxury surrounds -... more

Upon walking in it does not seem like a bad hotel. Great lobby, wonderful location and good price for the place. Our room was well appointed but after a few minutes of unpacking we could start to smell a strong odor of wet rags and the beds were damp to the touch. The smell and dampness were probably due to... more

typhoon ondoy flooded manila, and main streets are non passable. my benefactor checked me in at dusit after our conference. Our handphone batteries are drained, and malls have closed. when i got into my room my first priority was to call home and check on our 6 mos old baby with her yaya. the last time i called, there was... more

As far as luxury hotels go in Makati, Dusit Thani definitely ranks among them. It's evident as soon as you walk into the lobby. (Although it must be said, it's not quite on par with Shangri-La, then again Dusit Thani is half the price). The rooms leave a bit to be desired though. I was lured into upgrading to one... more

Actaully despite being a bit dated on the outside the interior is great and rooms large. The Thai restaurant is very good and very authentic. more
