I have an interview, and with Miramar almost just in front of the embassy, I thought it's an ideal inexpensive and yet cozy place to stay. I booked online so when I got there, just had to give a thousand as a deposit fee (refundable) and then I was shown my room up at the 5th floor (I could slightly... More

Good location near Rizal Park and US embassy - easy walking distance to Robinson's Shopping Complex and Walled City, etc. Art deco hotel with reasonable rooms and facilities. Bed and pillows very firm. Sheets and towels are little grey. Reception staff could have been a little friendlier, particularly on arrival. Breakfast a little average. Didn't dine there in the evening... More

You can never imagine that I checked in Room 404 in this Miramar Hotel at 11:30pm night, and then I wanted a quieter room so I turned off the air-con at midnight when I was about to sleep. THE SINGING NOISE!! Just downstairs. It's crazy. I think the Filipinos would stop singing soon, so I didn't request a change of... More

I had business at the US Embassy. The walk from the hotel to the Embassy entrance was no more than 10 minutes. It trumped another nearby hotel in price winning my decision. The ambience is art deco and classic. The bed is on the stiff side. Bathroom was adequate. AC was great. Room service was overpriced for the quality of... More

Let's face it, Manila is a dive at the best of times. So if your going to hang out in one of the worst S.E Asia cities then do it with some style. As far as I know the New Hotel Miramar is the only real classic Art Deco hotel in the area that survived WW II. Aesthetically it has... More

My husband and I stayed at the Miramar hotel from January 1-4 2014. It was our first stop in the Philippines. The hotel is located on a very busy road (Roxas blvd) and the side streets appear sketchy but we felt safe. Our room was on the 5th floor. It was spacious and clean. The A/C worked well. It was... On 15 Dec. 2013, I personally applied/booked for a 2 days stay (24 - 26 Dec. 2013) at Miramar Hotel for my families Christmas holiday enjoyment at Luneta Park. Apparently, on 21 Dec., my mother died and therefore, went again to the hotel on 23 Dec (8:30AM) for the cancellation of my booking. I was told by the Receptionist that... More

I stayed here last August 15, 2013 and October 22, 2013. I definitely enjoyed my stay here because the room was really good, very clean, stylish and comfortable. The room is indeed worth the money. It's very close to the Embassy of the United States and to those who will have their interview I suggest for you to stay here.... More

I have stayed in New Miramar Hotel for three nights begin November 2013 during the terrible Typhoon Yolanda. Although we had no problems at all it's still painful to realise the horrible situation of others close by. It's a rather cheap hotel (paid 35€ per night) but is very good value for money. Breakfast is included but don't waiste your... More
