This is a first-class hotel. There are a lot of services within the hotel (nurse, afternoon tea service), the rooms are very nice, and the prices reflect this. We stayed there at the end of December so they were gearing up for the big New Year's Eve celebration in Manila. As others have mentioned, they do have intense security checking... More

We stayed here during the Philippine visit of Pope Francis which was a very busy time for hotels in the Manila area. In spite of the full occupancy, service was still good, housekeeping was consistent and food was plentiful. Overall, we were happy for choosing this hotel as base for the Papal visit.

Stay overnight to attend a cousin's wedding. Did not expect what the hotel can offer to me and family because it is the nearest hotel to the wedding venue. But received the best and comfy stay ever and will be staying sooner and will recommend to my relative as well.

Never been disappointed with this place. My go-to hotel when I have to catch a flight and wouldn't mind staying for couple more days. Location is in Manila, a block away from the US Embassy. Depending on traffic, this is around 20-30mins away from the airport. Makati is a cab ride away. Very comfortable bed and very clean room. Nice... More

Very busy hotel with lots of travelers. When I came into the room, the AC was blasting and it was SUPER COLD. Temperature was around 65 degrees Fahrenheit or 18 degrees Celsius. Turning off the AC made it a little warmer but night time it was still cold. Breakfast at the lobby was crowded so no tables were available. Had... More

The Diamond Hotel seems to be trying to capture old world opulence but just doesn't quite make the grade. Security also appears to be a major concern. All visitors are subject to having their luggage scrutinized by sniffer dogs and security personnel , before passing through an airport style security scanner. These may not be bad precautions to take in... More

This is what I would call a big city business hotel. I find it rather to luxury for my taste but none the less I appreciated the comfort. We had a superior room on the 8th and later on the 7th floor. The beds was great after a warm bath and too many hours of flying. The room temperature was... More

I stayed here for 3 nights in Dec/Jan over the NY period. While NYE and the night before were very noisy, the stay was excellent. Service is superb as are all food options in the hotel. The breakfast buffet I rate as the equal of just about any hotel in the world. Enjoyed some fine dining at the attached japanese... More

I have stayed in this hotel with family for two nights and took the option to upgrade for a fee for Diamond Club Lounge. Had interconnected rooms on the 23rd floor with great views of the City and the Bay. Best feature was the Diamond Club facilities with members only lounge with Breakfast and afternoon high-tea with Chef on-site. Free... More

stayed overnight during new year's eve. a day before we checked-in, i called and inquired about traffic rerouting around the area because of the local government's new year countdown exactly in front of the hotel. i was passed around 3 times. apparently, not all staff are aware of the event and exact details (time and location) of road closures. in...
