I had the opportunity to stay in the Las Palmas Hotel in Malate on Mabini. I stayed at the hotel from May 17th to June 1st 2009. I found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. For the same price I rebooked at the Bayview Park Hotel and guess what?...NO COCK ROACHES!!!! And a staff that is much more guest oriented and professional. Las Palmas was terrible! Don't leave cash in the safe deposit box behind the front desk. My friend left $1200.00 in USD, 100's 50's and 20's. When he checked out and cleared out the safe deposit box everything was there, passport, wallet with Credit cards, but $800.00 of the $1200.00 was missing. They have keys for it, so be careful. Was given a card for this hotel by a tout at the airport. Seemed good value so I took a chance. It's not luxurious but the rooms are fine - and mine had a view of the Manila Bay sunset. Huge number of TV channels on the TV and a nice bathroom. It was a good 3 star hotel for... more

stayed 10 days, nice place for money, close to robertsons mall and baywalk, very busy place, kinda noisey but ok,,,,room had fridge with bottled water, pop and beer............ more
