I have reviewed this hotel twice before so I will not engage in repetition except to say that I love staying here despite the slightly out of the way location (mind you, it is only a P70 five to eight minute taxi trip to the great Robinsons Place Ermita shopping centre, the best in Manila). On my latest visit a... More

I stayed in Manila hotel for 4 days. It is quite pleasant, the room design is somewhat traditional which did not appeal to me, but many people liked it. Facilities are good, room service was good and fast.

I would still say that Manila Hotel is still the pride of Manila, though it is only rated as 4 star. Me and my family stayed here for a day just for the experience, the first time we stayed here is when my sister got married that was 2007 , nothing much have changed but for me that is good since... Location is OK. The genral feeling was that it's probably been really good in the past but no longer. It's busy and the structure of the building doesn't really allow for it. A few small problems at check in. The hotel isn't really near anything and if you are not with someone who knows Manila you would find it difficult... More

If you want the feel of The Philippines culture and history, this is it. There is so much history here...from the WWI era to WWII to now....many famous people stayed here. There is an archives room in the hotel.....you can go there to see pictures of this history. I wish the room was bigger and better organized. The atmosphere is... More

The instant you step into this prominent hotel, you are unexpectedly taken back to its glorious past. While its architecture reveals the richness of its history, its Christmas display is that of the contemporary era. Since its location is a stone’s throw away from numerous must-see spots like Rizal Park, my family did not hesitate to pick this venue when... More

I availed of the Christmas Package for 12.5k and I'd say our stay was just "so-so". First, they moved us to a room where the window view was ugly. wasn't facing the Manila Bay and the room was too far from the elevator. And the Xmas package came with a gift for the kids and fruit basket and free sodas... More

I will start off with the only positive review I have for this hotel. There is this one waiter who was really accommodating and really tended to our needs. To show our appreciation, we gave this waiter a generous tip. As for the negative reviews; 1. Parking attendant. I parked outside the hotel since the parking inside the hotel vicinity... More

We spent 3 nights in a suite in early December. There were plenty of parties, weddings, conventions going on, and thousands of people were populating the lobby and the access to the hotel. Many of them also stayed in the hotel and dined in the restaurant. Plenty of 2 star people for a so called 5 star hotel! It seemed... More
