This joint is worth staying from a historical and cultural perspective, but the place is rather tired. The staff was quite helpful, responsive, cheerful and all thing good, but the hotel is quite dated, including the rooms, furniture, computer system, and plumbing. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I usually hate breakfast buffets. On arrival, they had lost our prepaid... More

we came on a "promo offer" (13000 php for three nights) and this REALLY is good prize for what is offered. The room is spacious, the TV in the bathroom is fun. From a European point of view the prize for drinks in the bar is really for a five star place. We really recommend it!

As soon as you spproach this hotel, you are greeted by the bell hoppers. Then you walk inside the lobby which is huge. The lobby is very classy. There is someone playing on the piano which is lovely. The hotel is in very good condition also for how old it is. The swimming pool area is very nice too. The... More

Still top-notch in services, food and ambiance after all these years. Superior deluxe room more than sufficient to satisfy fuzzy guest in comfort and amenities. However, bubble bath crystals/powder should be provided since there is a bath tub. Cannot remember whether there was a shaving kit. Free wifi reliable. Elevator is card activated. Breakfast spread was extensive and lots of... More

Rooms are to a very high standard and there are many facilities including a superb gym, steam, sauna and jacuzzi excetra. The breakfast buffet is extensive... not only will you find everything you want but many things you didn't... More

Stayed with extended family to celebrate my Father's birthday. Rooms have been updated tastefully with a nod to classic Filipino wooden furniture and design (except for the tacky uniform of the staff). Kids enjoyed the LCD TV by the tub! Breakfast buffet was very substantial and delicious. Location may be way off depending on what you intend to do in... More

Of all the outstanding hotels you may be privileged to stay in this has got to rank among the best. Rooms are rooms are rooms and most luxury hotels have rooms/suites that excel in nearly every way. Well these rooms do that and more with outlooks onto Intramuros/park or (preferably) the harbour and docks with sunset views -outstanding. Add excellent... More

I am scared of fireworks so I stayed here last new year's eve. There were a LOT of other guests but I enjoyed my stay even if. Try their spa, i loved their massages. And when there are lots of guests, wake up especially early to eat breakfast because when I was there, around 8am, there was already a line... More

Once inside the hotel, everything feels rustic.Seems like history unfolds in my very eyes. The Mac Arthur suite is huge and old, old in a way that I feel proud that I am witnessing this history, where Mac Arthur stayed with his family. The Cafe Ilang-Ilang Restaurant is a total rockstar experience, the best buffet in my entire experience. The... More
