A great place in the Ermita district of Manila. The staff were super and made you feel at home. The place gets local pool/billiard players in which is great for making new friends and chatting which is a bonus. The menu is quite varied and the beer is cold.

My Wife is Filipino and she made very certain booking to receive us around 3 am from a Cebu Pacific flight. They full well understood the need for flexibility in our arrival time. They were made full aware of the need that we have the booking and gave us room #23 and all the assurances their would be no issues.... More

Always made welcome when entering the Duck Inn Hotel no matter what time day or night. Great selection of local and international dishes on menu added with tastes from home (Australian). Friendly staff to serve you food and beverages at reasonable prices with door security to keep out unwanted visitors/vendors. Four large TV screens with large selection of sports, if... More

As I'm based in Dumaguete there are lots of times I've to do an overnighter in Manila when my flights don't connect. Over the last 3 months I've stayed there 4 times. The hotel rooms are clean with a good AC and TV. The rooms range from 1300 PHP onwards. The best part is the bar down stairs it has... More

This place is great. Good cheap food, great service and clean rooms. They are 1 of the best budget hotels I stayed in. Everything about this place rocks. The staff are awesome too! They also have pool tables, and massage service. The only downside is the location is a bit slumy, but that is Manila for you. I Just caught... More

I've visited their restaurant many times and found their food very good and well priced. Service is adequate though often spoiled by excessively loud music. Still it's a good clean haven in an area that is often dirty and not especially safe. Recommended if you want a selection of tasty Filipino and western food.

As I'm in and out of the Philippines all the time and when ever I need to stay overnight in Manila it's always at the "Duck". The cost of the rooms start from 1300PHP onwards and mostly I take the standard room as I have to leave early in the morning for my flight. The bar and restaurant on the ground... More

I love the Philippines, Manila not so much. Traffic, pollution, crime, Dan Brown was on the right track describing it as "The Gates to Hell" Okay, maybe that was a little harsh, and I am not a fan of big cities anywhere, you get the idea, I try and avoid Manila as much as possible. When I do have to... More
