I’m not going to take credit for it, but Bayleaf has higher rates than last year. It is one of the nicest hotels in Manila, but it can be a little out of the way unless you need to be in Ermita, Intramuros or old, central, downtown Manila. There is really no modern high-rise hotel at all, even similar to... More

Bayleaf is worth every peso spent! Very affordable, super helpful and friendly staff! Intramuros is a bit away from the city but is just close enough to get to wherever you need to for a 200 peso cab ride. Plus there is something calming about being in "old Manila". It was totally safe, clean and efficient. Complimentary breakfast comes with... More

This was my colleague's and my second stay at the Bayleaf. The area is far less sketchy than other parts of Manila. The Intramuros location gives you an authentic feeling for the city as it once was. From my initial emails to Abs, who was wonderful, to our arrival at the hotel, everything was perfect. The rooms are exceptionally clean... More

The Bayleaf is one of only two hotels in intramuros and is a lovely new modern hotel offering great comfort in a fantastic location. The staff cannot do enough to help and the place is clearly well managed. The rooms are large and modern with fabulous views of the old city. Bathrooms are new and spacious. Breakfast was a delicious... More

good value for a relatively new hotel. service is friendly and warm, very solicitous and informative when we visited to check tariff. the interior looked very elegant and warm. and it's right next to the intramuros golf course (tee off at night!). the only downside i think is it's immediate surrounding. it seemed dodgy at night.. or maybe only because... Travelling with my non-Filo husband and bro-in-law who were history buffs meant that we had to visit Intramuros. I read about Bayview which was located in the centre of history. When I enquired about room availability, I asked that the rooms be big enough for 6’+ guys. Thank you Francis (for your prompt reply) and your co-staff (friendly faces at... More

We recently stayed at the Bayleaf for 3 nights whilst in Manila for a family wedding. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and provided us with great service at all times (particular thanks to Rodel, Kim, Aldrin, Paulo and Geraldin). We had 2 rooms very close to each other on the same floor. It was great that our children could... More

Stayed at Bayleaf Hotel for 3 days 2 nights. Upon arrival, me and my fiance were greeted warmly by the staff. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Sir John Enriquez made sure we were comfortable in our room and if we need any assistance, they will be happy to help. The room was clean and stylish. Bathroom was big and amenities... More

The location is good for church weddings and historical attractions. The roof deck is really cool with a nice view to boast, staff are also friendly and they also have a free breakfast... I only wish that they have a swimming pool, a gym and other amenities to relax. :)

Especially I have to point out the service of the hotel. Every wish was tried to make come true, even if they were time critical. Rooms are clean, modern and very nice. An absolute highlight is the rooftop bar with a beautiful view over Intramuros and the the rest of Manila (order a mango shake). Intramuros is also one of... More
