If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in, this place definitely calls it all. Rooms are very basic as expected but were good. Level of cleanliness is average. The hotel is located in a place near Robinsons Mall and nearby restaurants. We kept returning to this hotel as they were hospitable.

Location is safe and you will always feel secure when inside the hotel because as its name implies peace and serenity which means the presence of God is surely felt. Accessibility to a big shopping mall and embassies especially US. Hotel rates within affordability especially to average income earners. And also accessible to LRT station if you go shopping at... My wife and I have been staying here since the late 1970's when it was known as Silliman Christian Guest House. It was an oasis then and still is to this day. All I have to add from my last review is that the elevator in the main bldg only goes to the 6th flr. So if you book a... More

It has everything that you want including friendly staff and a hop, step and jump to a big shopping centre. Had a chuckle whilst reading an earlier review regarding the door of the lift. You have to be quick to get in the lift. Found it quicker to go up the stairs. Nothing to complain about.

Its one of the ideal place to stay in Malate, Manila.. The hotel is safe and at par with other hotel establishment despite the religious ownership.. Also, Shalom is just few steps to Robinson's Manila, Adriatico Street which is features an array of international restaurants. Also, a walking distance going to Roxas boulevard and Malate Church.

Very warm and welcoming staff, with a good selection of rooms at a very good price. I stayed in a twin room with a private bathroom, Air-con, and TV. The room was very clean with towels and room cleaned and changed daily, bedding every other day. the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel

We stayed here for the final night of our VIM trip to Anda. The only challenge was the speedy elevator door. The rooms were comfortable and efficient. I enjoyed the art work collection hanging in the lobby. Great service!

Clean, honest, secure, wholesome place in the Malate area. Good location too (near Robinson's mall & Pedro Gil MRT station). But it is also very basic, good for backpacking. They also offer airport service at a reasonable price. Best for group travels. They have family rooms & apartment type rooms as well. The alley where it is on is relatively... More

The hotel is located near Robinson's Mall. In hotel vans are available for aiport pick up and transfers. Rooms are clean and affordable. There is a cafeteria that serves good breakfast. Staff is nice and friendly. I would recommend this for budget travelers.
