We got a deal that the published rate will have a discounted price. There's 9 of us (big family) plus one infant. The breakfast is above average. I like it that the pool is open 24 hours. For those feeling lucky, they have a casino. If you are a non-smoker, be ready to brave the aroma of tobacco. The shuttle... More

We stayed at MGOH for 3 days and for the price of Php 3300 per day we got one majestic room with 2 twin beds and an additional bed. For the price, i believe that we got the most out of it, with decent beds, a clean room with ACU, toilet and shower with basic toiletries and free breakfast buffet.... More

We stayed in this hotel last august 2014 since my husband will be taking a government exam and we need to find a place to stay near the testing site. With kids in tow, we looked for a hotel that also offers swimming pools as amenities. The staff are very very accommodating and there is a separate elevator going to... More

We were excited to be coming to Manila Grand Opera because we thought it would be a nice change to some of the hostels we had been staying at. Unfortunately it was a massive let-down. We booked and paid extra for a 'room with window', but the window was tiny. The room had a funny smell and the location was... More

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. We're residents of Manila but sometimes we just want to relax and get away (temporarily) from all the stress. We checked in at exactly 2 pm, but we had to wait for 15-20 minutes before going to our room (we booked via agoda.com) because they still had to clean it. I... More

I believe that grandeur was not in the minds of the owners when they built this hotel. You will not find grandness in any of its facilities. They just took the words GRAND (and OPERA) in the hotel's name which was the name of the historical opera house that formerly stood there. Most rooms have no windows but the curtains... More

I stayed one night with my teenage son. It was our first night in the Philippines. We just needed a place to stay at, after arriving in Manila before we headed north to Banaue. I booked the hotel online and choose the location because it was close to the bus terminal in Sampaloc. I booked two nights online even though... More

Stay for 2 nights on a room for 2, with 1 double/twin bed. 2 walls were made of wood, I could hear the sounds and telivision of the other rooms. Didnt like the main color of my room, red and black and white, red is so heavy color. Staff are slow to respond, I requested for info, I had to... More

Here's my detailed review of this hotel: http://pinkresistors.blogspot.com/2014/05/rant-manila-grand-opera-hotel-review.html My bf and I likes to have staycations because we don't have time for longer vacations since we're always busy. This last April and May, we had our staycation at Manila Grand Opera Hotel. The place was quite nice and I really had a relaxing time during our stay. It was also... More
