I enjoyed staying at Chill-Out in Manila. The staff were kind and helpful, and the facilities were clean (despite outside appearances). Pros: • cleanliness and comfort • A/C worked very well! • convenient to interesting places in town • hot water in shower (I'm noticing that in PH, you don't always get that!) Cons: • At first I was disappointed... More

Chillout is a nice hotel with average amenities and excellent service. It's also designed for smokers only: There's NO non_smoking lounge and the employees and one of the owners have no problem blowing their smoke in your face or in their own children's faces. It has an excellent feel to it and few misses including the lack of in_room WIFI... More

Hello Alexander, we are very surprise by this comment ! You stay with us for a month, in the common area every day for hours, and you never came to us for any complaint about the smoker ? Most than that every time we speak together you use to give compliment about the place. You even came to me for... More

I just stayed here for 2 nights. I had no noise apart from the bloody roosters which should be banned from city centres! I found the staff very helpful in organising onward travel and the small kitchen area is ideal for meeting people. They responded quickly to any queries when I booked my trip from the uk. Cant fault it... More

During our holiday me and my boyfriend got sick and we had to stay longer in Manila. Chill Out Guesthouse is small and cosy, with a good service, ladies working there were very helpful and friendly. Room - huge and very clean with private bathroom. Neighbourhood...well maybe it is not the nicest but close to guesthouse is a market and... More

I understand you have to pay a small fee if you book a ticket, but when I said that a fee of 125 pesos was a lot. The staff member lied in my face by showing an online travel website with the same price they charged. 575 P. When I asked how much a taxi to the bus station was,... More

To stay here is cheap but expect morethan the amount you pay. Room is simple but clean. Has a common bathroom and toilet also clean and smells good. I... More

In April I was coming back in the early hours from Banao Rice Terraces by bus and leaving the same evening to Bangkok. I hadn't booked any place to stay because I just needed a place for my luggage and a shower. We arrived with two other packbackers to this guesthouse and one of us had a reservation. I explained... Stayed here on a one night stop. Weren't expecting it to be extravagant and it certainly wasn't. Had a small windowless room with one small fan and was rather warm. It was also next to the reception vas communism area so a little loud. Food in the restaurant is good - but only ate here because the surrounding area doesn't... More
