First of All. The Hotel chaged the name. Formerly (till months ago) was named "Traders Hotel Malé" That was the name it had when I stayed there. This was my first time in Maldives. For those firstimers, like me, here go some facts. Maldives is an insular country. Its formed by many islands grouped in atolls. Mahlé is its capital... More

I stayed here for 6 nights for buisness. I have no idea why anyone would choose this hotel for an overnight stay before or after their flights. As a single woman, I didn't feel safe on this island. I certainly did not leave the hotel by myself. There was supposed to be a free Sean Paul concert while I was... More

The whole dinner package was amazing. Rates suited our budget well. The ambience, service, staff at the Reception, mainly Maasha, dont remember the other girl's name were very polite and always wore a smile. The restaurant waiters were also very polite, especially Ali who deserves better for professionalism. Jitin (Not sure if the name is right, He was a supervisor,... More

I've used this hotel for business several times. While the staff are normally nice and the restaurant is good, the cleanliness of the rooms is not always acceptable. On one occasion the sheets smelled of cigarette smoke. On my last stay the sheets had an unbearable smell and the mattress pad had a big blood stain which someone had tried... More

This is the perfect transit hotel for an overnight stay between your flight into Male and the transfer to your vacation resort. It seemed like most guests were there for this purpose. We will definitely stay here again the next time we need to transit. PRO's: - Reliable, deluxe accommodations for a transit stay - Easy airport transfer process. The... More

This is a businessman's hotel with no great frills. Be that as it may, it is value for money. The staff and management are friendly, polite, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. The Restaurant at the first floor offers a reasonably good variety of food for buffet breakfast. The rooms and the bathroom are clean, wee equipped and the design and facilities... More

This is the best place to stay in Male. It's the only hotel in Male that is part of a chain which provides a degree of reliability in terms of quality and security. Some of the flight crews stay here, including British Airways. The rooms are small but nice. Downside is the rooftop (tiny and crowded), and concierge service -... More

Stayed at Traders whilst waiting for a flight and we would have checked in earlier if we knew how comfortable this hotel is, we ate in the buffet restaurant where the food is excellent as was the service. Many thanks for your hospitality during our short stay and we will return if we need to stay in Male again.😄

Property was decent and staff were very helpful and professional. However, my room was very humid despite the air conditioning was on, and the bed/bedsheet/duvet were all damped and smelled moldy. Our flight arrived very late and by the time we crossed the water and checked-in, it was 1am and thus we didn't bother to ask for room change. Breakfast... More
