i kind of forgotten all about this GH until i walked past it again last night. I must say it a very beautifully designed GH in a heritage building. great location but this is the only place i stayed in my life that i had to launch a police report against the hotel staff. During this stay,i came back to... More

The hotel location greatly big plus, walking distance to famous bukit bintang best attraction. The hotel building itself just an average old style building, value for money. The staff ( khalid khan ) very helpfull since we check in, he offering me to call embassy office in the midnight to have some information. Will stay here again for casual visit... More

If based on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the best you can possibly get, and 10 being the worst imaginable, then the “Number Eight” Guesthouse is accurately ranked. Located in the Bukit Bintang area of Kuala Lumpur – a decaying tourist magnet, littered with dirty backstreets and equally dirty and appallingly maintained hotels serving the local prostitutes... The guesthouse was ok, nothing great to talk about and nothing horrible. The best part is the location, couldn't fault that. Close to Imbi station (monorail - connected to Chinatown, Times Square, KL Sentral and Little India as well as pavilion mall). We got a ok rate on agoda, I wouldn't pay any more for it. I wouldn't in my... More

I visited this place in 2007 and really loved the boutique guesthouse. In 2011 the place was handed over to a new owner. I was shocked to see the state the place was in. What is left is a guesthouse in a deplorable condition. No ambience left. The staff is very unfriendly and occupying all couches and chairs in the... More

We loved our stay at Number 8! When we arrived we got to choose from 2 rooms, one was near the self serve breakfast bar and the other was out the front, we chose the front one thinking it would be noisy near the breakfast bar (self serve of eggs and toast.) The room we picked was really quiet considering... More

The only one thing that is good, is Location, and still so expensive for a guest house. They serve a breakfast in the morning (toast, eggs, jam, and butter) with a drink that no one prefer. Rooms are small, a lot of them with bugs, so please check the room, and beds for bugs before you check in. Noise Noise... More

The number eight guesthouse looks nice enough with friendly staff, a comfy shared living space and breakfast included in the price of the rooms (jam and bread with egg). However the small room that my wife and I took for three nights was jam packed with bed bugs. We both had a really bad reaction to the bites and we're... More
