Stayed in Anjung KL with a group of friends. We arrived very early in the morning around 5am and the staff (Anderson) was kind enough to let us check in early, rest and freshen up. Staff was also helpful with directions, arranging for transportation to Berjaya Hills-Colmar Tropicale and Batu Caves. Another staff (Florence) also offered to show us were... More

Helpful owners and at a great location: just around the corner from Jalan Alor. Rooms are small and windowless, but they have AC and are clean. Shared bathrooms are quite good. Nice sitting area in the front of the house and free WIFI and drinking water. After all good value. More

We had booked in advance but due to some mistake we ended up getting a twin room instead of a double. It was a ratty room with a bunk bed, no windows and an icy air-con just above the top bunk. We ended up taking turns sleeping on mats on the floor. Anyway. The hotel is centrally located - we... More

The rooms are very small, you have to share the bathroom anche there are no cover but THis guesthouse it is very Affordable. It seems clean and very close to the city centre!! In 15 minuts on foot you can arrive at the Petronas Twin Tower. It is in Bukit Bintang. Nearest to the monorail to go to airport More

Stayed in Anjung KL twice, in February 2009 with my mom and aunt and in August 2010 with a friend. I think this is an affordable guest house for backpackers, it's homey and pretty comfortable. It has excellent location, very near Jalan Bukit Bintang (where the action is), so it's within walking distance to food, cafes, shopping malls, sky train.... More

Anjung KL Guesthouse offers Malaysian hospitality. we arrived at the guesthouse around 1am and the receptionist is friendly. what we find charming in this guesthouse is that we have to leave our shoes outside as its their customs and walk barefoot inside even at the rest room. the rest room by the way is common. it offers free continental breakfast... I had phoned Anjung & made a booking for the Sunday night just a few days before I wanted to stay there & the staff confirmed availablity. Then a day later, i emailed to make another booking later that week. Never got a reply over email. Even worse, an hour before i was expected to arrive, i phoned & they... More

I was happy to get in out of the rain, but I was overjoyed to leave early next morning. I was stuffed in a tiny airless cupboard beneath stairs. For this priviledge I was charged 60RM and given no towel and no soap. The one member of staff I spoke to was friendly enough, but I reckon he was thinking... More

First time I was told that I would have to move out because they had overbooked. Will never stay again (stayed 3 nights before the "eviction". Found better and cheaper digs just down the road. More

My friend and I were supposed to stay for three nights but had to check out after one because my friend was feeling very terrible due to the mould. The front desk was welcoming and clean but it was a bit inconvenient to remember to take off shoes indoors all the time. We would carry our shoes back into our... More
