This is great apartment hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown. Lately the area has become very trendy, with expatriate bars and italian restaurants housed in old renovated shop houses. Depending on the location of your room, you might hear some some of the disco bar music if you open the balcony doors on Friday or Saturday.
It is very easy to get to the monorail line and and walking distance to restaurants and several malls. There is also a sister hotel called the Ascott, which is closer to the KLCC twin towers which I would also recommend.
The rooms / apartments are spacious, clean and equiped with a DVD player and stereo and high speed internet. Only weak point to the hotel is the complimentary breakfast which is not always good but the well equipped kitchenette in the apartment should give you everything you need to make a nice meal or breakfast. more
