Hotel's location is perfect for exploring KL: it is close to the Komuter and LRT stations, free GO-KL bus, and is right in the middle of Chinatown. The front desk staff is very helpful, but beware of the extra charges that could be added to your bill if you pay with the credit card. We are two people, but stayed... More

The lobby and elevators smell like mothballs (thanks to the suitcase shop downstairs), the rooms are really dark and depressing, and the guys at the counter are kind of creepy. The hotel itself is pretty mediocre. Although many reviews mention cleanliness, I found rotting wood on the bathroomn door (asian style wetroom). Also, before visiting Kuala Lumpur I didn't realize... More

First off, staff is very nice and helpful but the minute you walk into the lobby it wreaks of cigarette smoke. If this will bother you definitely do not stay here. I was told the rooms were non smoking but the air conditioning is central so when the person next to my room decided to smoke it came right into... More

Few days back we stayed in this nice hotel. It was a neat and clean property with almost all the basic facilities of a budget hotel. The air-conditioning and WiFi was excellent. There was daily room service and ironing facility was common for all. Free cold water was available for all the guests. The hotel is located in china town... More

The hotel itself I've rated as average as the rooms are very small and I took one with no window to save money. There's certainly better value for money. The hotel is very clean with a big lobby with seating area. The staff are exceptionally helpful. Overall based on cost and room size I've gone for average bug it would... More

this was a comfortable stay, the room is very tiny, but we were only there for a couple of nights so was fine as soon as you come out of the hotel you are smack bang in the market, which is good for shopping and haggling lots of places to eat outside the hotel and very central

Lovely, lovely location, very clean hotel, lovely, friendlystaff. Second visit in K.L. first time in this hotel. Obviously no luxury, but for this price (20 euro), excellent. Highly recommended. Only "negative" thing, room was very cold because of central air-con. Otherwise everything was very good.

my sister and I recently stayed 3 nights in Hotel Chinatown 2 in Chinatown Kuala Lumpur. we paid the extra to get an upgraded room with a window. little did we know that these upgraded rooms are off the air conditioning grid, and had their own so called air conditioning units which did not work. we spent 3 very uncomfortable... Biggest Pro: Location The location is great in itself, being on Petaling Street and 5-10 minutes walk from Pasar Seni station. The staff were the highlight of my stay here. Helpful and informative, speaking pretty good english. I think this hotel would have been nice once (maybe 10 years ago). In the interim, the hotels has really been allowed to... More
