We didnt get to stay at the hotel but we stayed there for dinner. It was good, but not super good. I expected a bit more, especially for the price and the "LHW" membership. Self serving wine via an automat was something "unusual" to me and I would prefer a detailed service on this. What aggrevated me the most, was... More

This colonial hotel is both comfortable and charming. We stayed here for one and a half days en route to the United States from Australia. We were allowed late check out and our room was luxurious at a fair price. The orchid room is very beautiful and the swimming pools are divine. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and filling.... We stayed here as we received a free night as part of a package when we booked a 3 night stay at Pangkor Laut. As we had two nights in KL I also booked and paid for the second night here and I am so glad we did. We were upgraded to a suite by the very professional and helpful... More

I stayed at majestic hotel for three days. Overall service was good except for the food selection for breakfast buffet. The food selection was too limited and quality was so so compared to hotels like JW marriot, one world, even 5 stars hotels in vietnam, India etc. So I filled up the comment card to express dissatisfaction to the food... Booked 7 rooms in Hotel Majestic. Extremely happy with the service. Very helpful staff. Only suggestion is to enhance the menu selection to include Indian food as well. Housekeeping was superb. Would stay again.

I stayed here for my birthday anniversary under the spa package. I was very fortunate they upgraded my stay to a Govenor Suite with its old world colonial charm and modern amenities and personalised room check-in. The bed is so comfortable , the best i've ever slept on. Thanks to butlers Linda and Amy for the wonderful surprise in our... More

I also love this hotel. Service is excellent. Room decor is modern and comfy. I have everything that I need. The buffet dinner is awesome. I also had afternoon tea at the orchid room which was really beautiful (but the pastry needs to be improved). The hotel might not be in the popular neighbourhood, but it has regular free shuttle... Our stay at the Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was really fantastic. The hotel is located in an historical building, completely renewed and provided with all comfort and luxury elements. The staff is really helpful and the service really valuable. The pool and the SPA are really nice as well as the gym. Even if the location is not optimal... More

I loved this hotel. Really nice spacious rooms, Great breakfast buffet and also the dinner buffet was quite an experience. But all in all, maybe the best surprise was Pak Sukardi who offered us the unexpected warm 'colonial' welcome. They also offer a great bus-service to central station and the shopping area.

The staff of this hotel is really charming and helpfull. I think the set up for the room and the whole atmosphere was perfect for our twosome holiday. In about 20 min you can walk to chinatown. Its also verz easz to get a taxi there.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur was built in the 1930s and was ranked as one of Southeast Asia's grandest hotels. Re-opening in December 2012, the hotel is poised to reclaim this former glory; its piece-de-resistance will be The Majestic Wing, whose Neo-Classical details have been meticulously restored. An annexe, housing the majority of the plush rooms, was designed to complement the historic building. A spa has been designed in art-deco fashion. ... more   less
