If you travel in KL and desire to spend your night in a calm & quite environment, I think this hotel should be a good option within budget. As a regular tourist, my likings is to roam the city & places all the day and perish to have sound sleep in a soothing environment. Hotel Shandar matches with my type... More

Considering the cost that my friends and I paid for the accommodation, I would say that this Hotel is great for budget travellers. The location of the hotel is not on the main road but its just 2 short blocks away from the main road and the nearest train station (sultan ismail station) is about 4 minutes away and PWTC... More

Stayed in this hotel with friends and found the location of the hotel to be one of the worst locations in the city. Situated in an isolated area on a one way and nobody seems to know the location well. Even with a hotel card with their address on it, the taxi drivers found it impossible to find the location.... This hotel has the worse service i have ever encountered. The staff did not have the basic courtesy to greet or even look up when we approached them. I was impressed by the hotel infrastructure (at this price point), but disgusted with the attitude of every single person/staff working there. Also, when i asked for a cab to the Airport,... More

I want to express my appreciation to the staff and management of the hotel. For their friendliness and professionalism. I am prepared to recommend the hotel to my friends traveling to Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is clean, quiet and safety standards.

I stayed there for a week and it was a good experience! I stayed on the 3rd floor. Internet was very fast. Room was spacious. Location of the hotel is very good and a lot of local shops are nearby. Breakfast was very basic but ok. They didn't have a large room for breakfast but it wasn't too bad. I... More

First impression was OK but as time went by, I encountered a lot problems. Firstly, the internet connection is the worse you can imagine. The wireless unit was found almost everywhere located on the ceiling on each floor but on the 5th. floor, it was useless. I complained to the reception about 3/4 times and the problem still went unresolved.... More

First of all we had a problem with keys from our room. At the reception they refused to give us 3 key. It was very uncomfortable for us, because each of us need a personal key. Then we asked it, staff was very unfriendly, they interrupting me, it was awful. So I call manager. Each request was like the battle.... More
