The Maya is a home away from home for me when visiting KL and is one of my favorite hotels anywhere. The style of the hotel appeals to my senses. It has a modern, functional design that's not over-adorned. The junior suites facing the stunning Petronas Towers are my choice. The room is very big, light and spacious. Bathroom is... More

this was an affordable hotel where the service was outstanding. While the understanding of english is not the best, the willingness to assist goes above and beyond, even for non hotel related matters. Also, for a good meal at reasonable prices, try NZ restuarant just down the road and there is a night club across the road. You are also... More

We had a great 2 night stay in Hotel Maya. There's a beautiful view of Petronas Twin Towers from the room. The breakfast was good and overally the hotel was very chic. We had a problem with leaking shower but told it at the reception and everything was fixed by the time we came back to the hotel..Would recommend

I like this hotel. Check in is very simple and quick. Very nice and friendly staff who is always willing to help you out. Rooms are quite good and have nice view of Petronas Towers. KLCC is just 10 minutes walk from here hence, you get easy access to twin towers, Surya shopping centre, aquarium and parks Across the road... More

3rd time staying here. Good location near KLCC and just across the road from Zouk. Some of the items in the bathroom getting a tad tired looking but all in all good value and very comfortable stay. (get the deluxe suite) Used to have great view from the lounge area on the 13th floor but it's now partially blocked by... More

I had the studio room which was fine, presentable and modern. Love the deco however quite lack of lighting and also plugs because I somehow couldn't (or maybe it's never there) find any plug by the bedside. But I love the shower. The water was fast and and the bath tub looked amazing (hadn't gotten the time to use it).... More

We love this hotel. We first came upon it last year when we won a Priceline bid for the Maya. We were so pleasantly surprised to discover this hotel! We asked for -- and received-- a room with a view of the towers. The room had a wall window, which made for a spectacular view. This year we didn't get... More

Considering the star-rating of the Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur, I expected more, and in doing so, was generally disappointed. Most disappointing was the staff - overall courteous and presentable - yes - but good at their jobs - no. Check-in was difficult, there was no doorman/bellman available to help with bags, I was given incorrect information regarding hotel services and... More

When you come into the hotel it looks like five star hotel, but when you get into your room, you can see it is really old. The floor is old and the room needs to be renovated. The staff was really nice and helpful. Location is really good and you can see the twin tower from your window (if you... More

I have stayed at this schizophrenic hotel before and it still disappoints. The rooms are large but badly designed. Based on some throwback Scandinavian minimalist styling but failing to deliver any form of comfort or desire to return. The rooms are sterile and unfriendly. However, the bathrooms are anything but sterile, being filthy and wet rooms with wooden floors may... More
