Hotel Nova is nearby the main attractions of KL and allows easy access - we have used both Family Rooms and Double Rooms, finding both to be of good value. The breakfast is very basic with hardly any choice but overall the hotel has excellent food options nearby, allows finding cabs very easily and has rooms at affordable prices. Rooms... More

Its not a four star hotel but it was excellent as we used this hotel to spend one night in KL and see a few of the sites. Local people very friendly and excellent food stalls on street at night. This is oldish hotel, good sized room with all amenities that we needed. Good central location. ITs not fancy but... More

We had a night here for a stopover. Our sim was to eat some local food, so this hotel was well located. As it was a Saturday. Night it was noisy even from the 12th floor. It was good to feel the vibe of the street, but not when we were trying to sleep. Hot water tripped the power so... More

We booked the hotel for the location and regarding thr subject it's quite good, within walking distance of a lot of places and close to public transport. Jalan Alor food is just in the same street as the hotel which is a good asset. The ac doesn't have a remote it has some weird button style comptroller attached to the... More

Quite good budget hotel, great location in Jalan Alor. Many food stores along the way. The chicken wings of the food stalls that in front of the hotel is delicious. The price of the room just around RM155 to RM175. The quality of restaurant for the hotel need to improve then they should train the FO to serve the customer... More

The room views in websites will look great. But the actual rooms are not good. The streetside view faces the vendor street which is over-crowded with people and chinese food hawkers. There is some construction going on and the view is nothing great. Only good part of the view is the Royal Bintang hotel which is visible in the skyline.... More

Unfriendly staff at reception. Slow check in. Dirty bed sheets and TV not working in first room. Second room no promised English TV channel. Disgusting tea cups. Lousy water heater and ugly and not too clean bath room. TV got settled later, but only 5 channels and some with bad reception. Boring breakfast and very little for vegetarians. Sleeping was... More

Was pleasantly surprised after reading so many adverse reports about this establishment. Stayed 7 nights at this hotel in room 200 - huge bed which could have easily slept 3 adults. Room/bathroom/toilet clean, towels changed everyday. Aircon worked well - fridge ok. Breakfast good. Found the location to be VERY safe at any time of the day or night. Staff... More

I booked a superior room for 3 days and I regretted my decisions. I stepped into room 1001 and nearly puked at the sight of the toilet bowl. It was obviously not cleaned at all. Stained toilet bowls and sink was unable to switch off. Towels provided were so pathetic, torn and stained. No door mat as well. I could... More

Stayed at this hotel for five nights, standard room. The location is ok, about a 10 minute walk up the hill to the shopping malls close by. (You don't want to continue walking down the hill past the hotel at night time... the area is poorly lit and was unsafe.) The positives? The staff were responsive and the price seemed... More
