The continous noise, until 5 am, from the disco on the street opposite of the hotel makes this hotel one of the worst I ever stayed in. Changing rooms to the "quiet" side did not help at all - the disco never stops. More

We stayed three nights at the Intercontinental back in October and we really enjoyed it. The bus boys were great, and my dad befriended the short man from Borneo (sorry I can't remember his name). They had a great sense of humor and were extremely friendly and helpful! Me and my partner upgraded to the executive floor which was great... More

The room we had was next to the lift so all you heard all night was the lift chains in action . The room was a suite but lacked style and wow factor. The club lounge was mediocre compared to others in KL but the staff were great.Value for money was good but most likely will not return. More

Being Ambassadors of the Intercontinental hotels, we decided to try this hotel despite mixed reviews with the renovations. It is true there are renovations in progress but we did not find them to hinder our wonderful stay at the Intercontinental. Many highlights to consider: 1) We definitely recommend if possible to stay on Club level. The service exceeds expectations on... More

intercontinental beds were very comfortable & you have full control of the room temp. very peaceful even tho construction right outside. I woke up early & heard house cleaning lightly tap on our door. I asked her to come back as my brother was sleeping & she politely obliged. she gave me extra shower soaps upon request and promptly came... More

My parents and I spent 5 nights in this hotel during our long weekend trip to Kuala Lumpur in January 2012. The friendliness of the staff is splendid, and you are greeted with a friendly face wherever you go. The breakfast buffet was incredible with standard hotel breakfast as well as asian specialities. The room was great! There was enough... More

I stayed in this hotel from 29th December to 10th January 2012, partly pleasure and business. This used to be Nikko Hotel. So it's not a new hotel and therefore the f&f is a little old, and the rooms and general area needs updating too. Especially I noticed the bathroom room is mouldy and around the shower. There is no... More

Stayed twice during July/August period 2011 and both stays were very good in terms of the rooms, services and breakfasts we had there. RA status recognition was a bit patchy though then (maybe our fault for not insisting on checking-in at the club lounge) but from reading the latest reviews the hotel seemed to have caught up with the scheme... The Intercontinental is in a good area but with great transport links if you can't face walking. There's a metro station directly outside and an OK - but tatty - shopping centre across the road (new upscale one opening soon). There's also a taxi rank outside the shopping centre. The hotel was a Nikko until Intercontinental took it over. It's... More

Having business meeting in the hotel. They seem lack of organization and they are many miscommunication. Hope they could be more attentive in the future. However their luncheon buffet are awesome! More
