A great location, right on the square next to Jamed Mosque, we took a room with a window, which seemed to have a little more space than the rooms without windows. Our room faced onto the square and was a little noisy during the day, but quiet at night. The area is bordering on China Town and Little India -... More

I think must compare to an hostel but it's more expensive, room single and double very very small and with anythink, white wall and and a bathroom just for skinny people.... Tv with 3 channels and the a/c very noisy and just up to the bed... The rest ok, WiFi free and good place to be in the city center

Our room was smallish and no-frills, but absolutely fine and comfortable enough with a view of the clock tower on the square as a bonus. We had a "deluxe" room as it had a window. They have cheaper rooms without. The hotel is extremely well-run; very clean, four fresh towels every day and when the towel rail came loose it... More

Pros: - Clean reasonable size rooms - Wifi Good in room - Security good in the evening (2 guys on reception, one managing the door) - Easy walk to Masjid Jemal LRT - so good transport options - Good service and English on the front desk. Quickly fixed a popped light bulb in our room. Cons: - Not alot of... More

Perfect place to explore KL city. The rooms were clean, staff very helpful and friendly. China town only a minute or two away, little india only a few minutes away. If you are looking for a good coffee and a good breakfast, highly recommend LOKL which is a 5 minute walk away.

On our one night stop-over in Kuala Lumpur, we chose this hotel as we would only sleep here and spend the remainder of time exploring the city. The rooms are really basic, but what do you need more besides a good bed, bathroom and working WiFi. What I would like to point out, is the high service standard of the... More

Hotel A-One was perfect for our three night stay in Kuala Lumpur. It is a 10 minute walk from the bus station, a 5 minute walk from the famous central market, a 10 minute walk from China town and a 3.minute walk from the metro station which can connect you to the rest of the city. Our room was lovely... More

I stayed at the A-One Hotel for 3 nights upon my initial arrival in K.L., then another 4 nights right before I flew out. The single room is very tiny - just enough room for the single bed and a small nightstand - so if you have a lot of stuff you'll be stepping over it to move around the... More

We had a great stay in this small hotel. Check in was quick and easy. The location is great, no busy road outside but just 2 mins to the LRT. The hotel is right next to little india with its fantastic food. Is also very close to central market which was a lovely place to shop and wander in the... More

When we visited (Dec 2012), there was construction on the street in front of the hotel so it was a bit hard to locate the hotel. Staff is nice. But the room is tiny, and no window makes us feel even more claustrophobic. (We later found out that this size is standard at budget hotels in KL). The little India... More
