Debated on whether I should give it 3 or 4 star, but in the end gave it a 4. We stayed in V garden hotel for 3 night in august. The reception staff were generally friendly and English was decent, their other staff are less friendly and did not speak much English. It would help if there was more consistency.... More

The staff at the V Garden were brilliant - super helpful when it came to recommending local restaurants (as many reviews say, the chinese opposite is sensational) and very accommodating. The rooms are small but clean and well appointed with a fun "Japanese style" bed (a mattress on a raised platform) and large tvs and clean bathrooms. Would really really... More

The rooms are TINY, but they are very clean, and so cleverly organized that you have everything you need. Also, the service is absolutely excellent (they helped us print out some documents and showed us where to walk and eat), and the breakfast is very good. The surrounding of the hotel is actually very nice, if you like local food... More

This place is very nice and clean. I got sick during my stay (not related to the hotel) and the staff were very friendly and helpfull. The room seemed new and organized. There is some distance to the main attractions

The hotel itself is located about 20 mins train distance away from KL City in a slightly run-down district of KL (10 minutes walk to the train station). This didn't bother us as the very reasonable room price, comfortable bed and freindly staff certainly made up for it! We had a 'superior room' (which was quite a bit larger than the... More

Just as it's name, the hotel gives a garden feel. There is a small garden with natural daylight behind the lobby where guests can sit there and chit chat. Room is pretty small but good for two people, especially couple. The drawback is the bathroom. It's quite small and cleanliness need to be improve. Service of staff is acceptable. As... More

I stayed at V Garden for 2 nights and really appreciated the comfi bed, clean room, nice service and quietness. But I think the location is not the best, although only a 5 min walk to the train station and 15 min train from the center. The surrounding area is not charming at all, don't expect to wander around at... More

At the beginning when we were booking V Garden we thought it was just another cheap hotel and we were expect for the worst when we arrived in KL. However, our initial thought was dead wrong - lovely small hotel with extremely friendly staffs greet us on our arrival. The room is reasonably size not that big however not that... More

Stayed for two nights before heading to Singapore and overall it was a pleasant experience for me. For the low price that I paid, the room was fantastic and well equipped even tough there wasn't any window. Staff was kind and helpful. Location was 15-20 minutes from the city centre and was a little tricky to find on arrival but... More

We arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Singapore, having stopped in Melaka for an overnight stay too. V Garden hotel is definitely not on the beaten path! Although it is close to a subway station, the hotel is not easy to reach from the station. You have to cross a 6 lane major intersection without much of a light (the motorbikes... More
