Stayed here for 3 night while visiting KL. Dorm was very clean en the bed was ok. They serve 'continual breakfast', meaning coffee toast en peanut butter. Location is perfect, just behind the main street of Chinatown. A lot of good places to eat around here!

Don't worry about the rooms. Everything here is clean, the lobby is really cozy and comfortable to hang out. The staff is young and helpful. What annoyed me is the bathroom situation (1 toilet, 1 toilet + shower and 1 shower), because basically the middle toilet is flooded all the time since used as shower (heater doesn't work here too).... I am covered in bites. My things are crawling with these horrible bugs and it is so horrible. The beds are not comfortible and nobody was particularly nice. The bedbugs were/are the worst though. Also the ""breakfast"" is white bread and jam...

the hostel was recommended to me by someone who stayed there so we gave it a try. stayed there for four nights with two friends. arrived at 2am and we had wandered the whole chinatown before locating the place, kinda small signage.haha checking in was fast and we were given an 8 bed dorm room. it was not luxurious but... Hi Marielee, thanks for your valuable comments, due to current rainy season at KL and our hostel are fully carpeted. the guest that walks in with wet shoe cause the carpet to get wet and cause uncomfortable smell. Our housekeeping staff does carpet steaming every 3days to prevent the smell from getting worse. Hope you have enjoyed your stay at... More

Stayed here for a total of 4 nights at the start and end of our trip to Malaysia. Convenient location with pretty clean rooms. The rooms are not the most spacious, but there is enough room to move and have your stuff. Can't really complain for the price. Breakfast is toast served on the rooftop. The staff were very helpful... More

It's very near to the Chinatown(around 3minutes walking from here) ~a very convenient location .but when we step into the room the strong smell was exactly terrible . But affordable accommodation for budget traveller . But last ,the dormitory bed is not really comfortable at all too cause it's too old i think. Would give 4stars if we didn't smell... More

Hi Jianshu, thanks for your valuable comment. Currently its an rainy season at KL and all our dorm rooms are carpeted, we have informed all our guest to,leave the wet shoes and socks outside so it will not create an unwanted smell on the carpet. Decent hostel close to central market and with good transport connections. Bathrooms and rooms could be cleaner for sure and you have to walk through reception area to go to the bathroom/shower if you're on the second floor

Hi Euroangle, thanks for your valuable comment, our housekeeping staff takes pride in the cleaning work, some times due to high usage the housekeeping staff would have overseen the cleanness and every floor there there is 3 shower and 3 toilets are allocated to the guest. The guest from 2nd floor could have use the 2nd floor shower and toilet... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Fernloft Hostel @ Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur for one night. All I can say it has a reason that it is so cheap. We had a private room for two. But the room was exactly as big as the bed(which is okay for one night and the price). But the worst thing was... More

I stayed here with 2 other adults and 10 school children during our summer expedition to Malaysia. The hostel is quite small with a variety of rooms (dorms, singles and doubles) which were basic but clean. Breakfast (toast, spread and drinks) was plentiful and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent - China town, Central Market,... More
