This hostel is very good. Me and my friends stay at this hostel in March 2014, we completely enjoyed our stay at this hostel. They have roof top to hang around which is quite good. Toilet are clean and all staff members are very helpful as well as very friendly with the guests. I liked this hostel so much as... More

We didn't even manage to stay the night as when we sat down on the bed for half an hour we discovered we had been bitten everywhere by bed bugs! Also the whole place smells and the staff are very rude laughing about us claiming there's bed bugs (even though there's clear evidence and reviews) and the cleaner came in... More

Great location..right next to the bustling Central Market and close to Pasar Seni and Kuala Lumpur station. The Masjid Jamek and the Colonial-era buildings are totally walkable too using this hostel as your base. You can also take the purple GOKL free bus service right next to this hostel, which takes you to the KLCC Patronas twin tower (this bus... More

I walked bare footed on their carpets and found myself with black feet, I thought this would be the worst part of my stay until the next day I found myself covered in bug bites. I don't know if this hostel has bed bugs or fleas or what but I can't recommend staying their unless the management gets rid of... More

We were looking for affordable accommodation near downtown KL. The Fernloft is well located near bus and trains and parks and china town. If you are looking for dorm rooms it seems ok. If you want private rooms they are poorly maintained, carpet is dirty, lots of noise from the street if you actually have a window and several rooms... More

The hostel is very close to the central market and chinatown (of course). The rooms are basic and quite clean. Even though the bunk bed is a bit creepy because it kept creaking (it is fragile). I thought that I will be scared to death to sleep on the lower bed, but since I was already tired, it didn't bother... More

Fernloft KL has the most helpful staffs ever. I lost my voice because of the cough by the time I got there, but the staffs were so kind and patient to understand what I tried to say. They gave advices, arranged taxi pickup (fairly cheap!) and helped me to buy my bus shuttle to the airport. They even let me... More

I booked a double for two people and was allocated a shoe box style bedroom, where there was absolutely no space to move or put your stuff anywhere. The picture advertised online is highly misleading and this is not due to a wide lens camera. The linen was dirty and as much as the staff tried they seemed overwhelmed with... More
