I understand that accommodations in larger cities can be a bit more expensive and that location is a major factor, but I feel that this place was a bit overpriced. I slept well and enjoyed the location, but the room smelled, there were cockroaches scattering upon entering, and the comforter on the bed seemed a bit grimy. I felt like... More

It's no 5 star hotel, you pay what you get. Small rooms, some without window, with AC and some with attached bathroom. It's a hotel you book to visit the city, not to enjoy your hotelroom. Rooms are not much bigger than the bed. Beds are good, clean and soft. The shower is good, toiletis clean, fridge works well andis... More

Dirty, stincky, noisy, full of cockroaches, dirty sheet pillows and blanket. The fridge is like a cockroache's house. If you want to have something bad in your life, dare to use the electric kettle (which is full of cockroaches as well...) My room had a window and all the ACs exhaust were ust beside my window and were very very... More

It is great position within triangle but not China town as stated. The photos on booking.com does not matched reality at all, we cane to exceptionally small room with dirty walls, floors, window, cockroaches, not very pleasent receptionist, back of the building has some factory neighbourhood that creates unbarable noise starting at arround 9pm and goes on whole night so... DON'T STAY HERE!! The room is not clean and I saw 4 cockroaches during 2 night. As you can see the pic, shower is horrible and not hot at all. There is a A/C in the room but is no remote control and window. Wi-fi is so slow. It worked just around the reception area. The staff was not friendly.... More

The room was regular, according to its star rating. It was clean, nice shower. The bed cover was disgusting, so old it had holes. Bed linnen and towels smelled clean, but they weren't white and some were stained. Internet only worked at the reception area, sometimes very badly. It seems that it is always like that, although the staff told... More

I'm sorry to write but guest house is what you pay for $26 but I was coming from another part so wasn't overly sure. What I found on first appearance was a bed and small shower / bathroom ensuite, it has the English type hot water which i personal hate and when I did try their was no hot water.... More

This property is located on a quiet street which is right behind Jalan Alor. Very meticulate owner who makes sure everything is in order. The rooms are not too bad considering the price & the sleep quality is also decent. I wouldn't hesitate to return here or recommend to others. Breakfast consists of toast, a boiled egg & tea/cofee. Overall... More

this is the worst place i have ever been!!!when i ordered the room at hotels.com it was written: two single CLEAN beds, room with a view to the city, toilet kit provided. we got a dirty mouldy room without a window - there is no air to breathe in this hole! bed linings not changed and dirty with the residuals... We booked into the Malaysia Guest House but when we turned up were told we were staying in Babylon Guest House across the street. No explanation and they could not find our booking. Room was basic with no window, a fridge but no kettle and the shower head runs over the toilet which is not ideal. Towels and linen a... More
