The rooms are basic but clean, well equipped (AC, sink) and the shared bathrooms are above the hostel average: hot & clean showers, clean toilets and comfortable facilities. Stayed there for one night and decided to go back on our way back to Europe.

My dorm was facing the Main Street (Jalan Tun HS Lee) and it got pretty noisy at night with the traffic and sirens and such. Apart from that, the hostel itself was nice and quiet and I was able to sleep well. Dorms were clean but showers and toilets could have been cleaner, in the three days that I was... More

We occupied the room good for 8 persons.. The room was very spacious and beds are clean and comfortable and big.. Blankets are provided. Good Wifi connection.. They serve the usual breakfast (Cereals, fruits, toasts, coffee, milk and Tea). You can also order from the restaurant just beside the hotel (Lokl Cafe- they serve big yummy breakfast). The location of... More

Stayed here for 5 days while awaiting a new passport. Nice, clean comfortable hostel. Higher price range then some hostels, but worth the extra money. Stayed in a mixed dorm, beds are big with own reading lights and powerpoints. Air con in rooms is set to standard Asian deep freeze so maybe bring a jumper. Most of the rest of... More

We arrived in KL early in the morning, around 9AM. We had a nice welcome with our names on the room door. And we could check in right away! Staff was helpfull! Great location, walking to the markets, nice food and bars close! We would go there again!

A clean, modern hostel in the heart of Little India, just a few mins walk from the nearest metro station. Really comfy beds, and a little power station/light/shelf located next to each bed was really useful. Showers were probably the best I had during my time in Malaysia, although there is limited changing space.. Breakfast was basic but free, so... More

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful with every request - laundry, postage stamps, restaurant and bar recommendations, helpful hints for other parts of Malaysia. Really enjoyed the free flow tea and coffee (though would have preferred real milk rather than sachets of creamer), and the light breakfast option. After a... More

The deco of hostel is trendy. However, the air-con is not very good. Also, the breakfast is very basic. Perhaps, I missed the breakfast time. It is only 10 mins walk to Pudu bus station. Thus, it was a good stopover place for those transfering to Singapore, Malaka or other province of Malaysia. I did not sleep well in this... More

After a 4-day vacation in Singapore, we went to KL and stayed in Backhome for 1 night since we only have 2 days allotted here. More than the facilities, It was a great feeling staying here as the staffs are all friendly and accommodating. I never felt any negative reactions and no poker faces shall be seen. For a budget...
