Gorgeous place and friendly helpful staff. Impossible to sleep with all the traffic if you are in the front rooms. More

This mainly chinese neighborhood deteriorated after the anti-chinese riots of 1968, housing prostitutes and second wives, but has recently been renovated, it has become a lively neighborhood with KL's eating paradise Jalan Alor just one small block away. Up to China Town the Anggun is the only decent place to stay, a bit pricy though, only the rooms in front... More

My husband and I stayed here with our teenage daughter for 2 nights in January. The service was impeccable, friendly and informative. The family room was really lovely with comfortable beds but unfortunately positioned at the front of the hotel and the street noise kept us awake both nights. I loved the location, just around the corner from Jalan Alor... More

We stayed here for three nights and loved the place. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was stylish, clean and tidy, and good facilities (internet and computer in room). Breakfast was served at the rooftop restaurant, a lovely covered area where you can relax and listen to the sounds of the city. The breakfast was included in the price... More

Anggun is not-a-very-well-kept secret. It is one of the most affordable, clean, and comfortable places in Thailand. My family and I have stayed there many times over the last three years. Why? - The staff are helpful, although somewhat chairbound; - The location is fantastic hemmed in by Jl. Alor and loads of great places to eat; - It's not... More

Small boutique hotel in central location. Greeted on our arrival with hot towel & drink which was a nice touch. We also received a free upgrade which was a nice bonus. Rooms very clean and well presented. The staff very helpful. Enjoyed the rooftop restaurant also. Our room faced the street, so was noisy during the night, so a courtyard... More

We stayed here for 3 nights following a peaceful setting in Bali. It is centrally located, and the staff were extremely helpful, considerate and welcoming. A drink and hot towels on arrival, always good after travelling. The room was very clean and cosy. We were located at the front of the hotel, which carried its noise and hustle and bustle... More

We stayed from 1st to 4th Dec and then returned from 10th to 14th Dec. The rooms are not huge but are perfectly adequate for a hotel when you want to spend your days out exploring. I organised our reservations online and there was no hassle. We had a family room with an extra bed (there were four of us... More

This hotel is designed well in Chinese traditional style. It is in a good location on a street that is being renovated. The rooftop restaurant is pleasant with large trees for shade. The breakfast is adequate, but try some of the restaurants nearby for lunch or dinner. There is an award winning Vietnamese restaurant just steps away on the same... More
