If you don't have your own transportation, this hotel is really out of the way compared to central KL (that will change when the new rail lines are completed, though) or Chinatown. There is a subway stop about 15 minutes or so walk away, but you will almost certainly have to change at least once to get anywhere a tourist... More

d'Garden Hotel is by far the worst and most disgusting hotel I've ever stepped into. The hotel is NOTHING like the pictures advertised, it's the same shape and layout but it's damp, dirty, smelly, half lit, half under maintenance, infested with locals and cockroaches. The pictures are photo-shopped. The bed was hard as rock, toilet and shower were grimy and... More

24 May 2013, 6pm The receptionist took 20 minutes to proceed the check-in process with very slow speed. And she want us to pay the full payment upfront check in plus RM 100 for deposit. We're booked 2 standard room for 2 nights (24&25 May 2013). We got room 306 & 307, both are same price but the toilet size... More

Room is quite small compare to other budget hotel, But you pay less sure will get the small room. Just one complaint the toilet need to improve alot . Too small and smelly. Quite near the town, and nicely have the old town coffee house near the hotel area. Value for budget trip.

Our room was super small. No closet, just hangers on the wall. The window was looking out a very dirty passage with piles of garbage. The neighborhood was very dirty and poor. Paddles of water everywhere after the rain. The breakfast was okay though, a train station and a shopping mall with supermarket nearby.

We stayed for five nights in a windowless twin room with air-con. The room's pretty small as is the bathroom and there was a funny smell in the room that never seemed to dissipate. I hope it wasn't mold, but the ceiling in the bathroom looked a little suspicious and I got a cold during my stay. The air-con unit... More

Stayed there for about a week in mid February. Were plesantly suprised after reading all the bad comments. Got a free upgrade and for the price that we actually paid for the room it was very resonable. Plesant staff at the reception, clean rooms.

The room is slightly dusty and caused my wife and I to sneeze when the air-con is on... (not flu btw) For everything else it is great. Really convenient place to get to anywhere (if you drive) within Kuala Lumpur. Easy to park your car. Friendly staff and Great Breakfast (if you like it the Malaysian style).. The room is... More
