Secure friendly hostel. The owner chatted with us and helped us with tips on what to see and do in Malaysia. The room had good aircon (crucial in sweltering Kuala Lumpur), but the TV did not work. The place was clean including the bathroom, showers and kitchen. Also very cheap and good location, next to ChinaTown.

The staff were very helpful. I got there very early as I got an early train, they let me into the hostel to have a shower and chill until I could check in. They even upgraded me to a better room that was available! The location was very good only a 2 minute walk to the metro station which was... More

We stayed in a 4 person dorm in our short visit to Kuala Lumpur. The room looked nice with red sheets on the bed and lockers for each person. The staff were relatively friendly and the atmosphere was quite nice. There were two bathrooms inside the smoking area and a few more at the other end of the hostel. All... More

I stayed here with friends for 4 nights in Kuala Lumpur. While it was an average hostel, I cannot fault its location - especially being so close to Chinatown and the famous Petaling Street Markets. It's quite cheap, and you cannot go wrong by booking a bed here for a few nights. Staff there are very friendly. Only downside is... More

We stayed for 3 nights in the Hostel. The staff is very friendly, especially the lady working in the morning shifts could help us with all our questions about town. Our room for the first 2 nights was on the first floor. It was very basic, but clean. The last night we had to move to the 3rd floor and... More

Have been at travel hub KL back in 2011, so i decided to stay again for some nights. Staff is friendly, funny and they all look a bit stoned haha. Hostel is located 5min walk from petaling street and MRT maharajalela. Rooms are clean and air conditioned, bathroom a bit small but okay. For that price one of the best... More

I think that Travel Hub was a nice place few years ago but currently the place is quite run down and dirty. I have been travelling for 5 weeks in Asia staying mainly in hostels- so I do not have high standards. This was one of the few places where I had to sleep in the sleeping bag since the... More

I stayed at the travel hub for 5 days and I have to say it is one of the better places I have stayed. The staff were fantastic from the moment I arrived, offering help with anything I wanted and giving advice on all the things to do around the city. They even took us all out to the Batu... More

My 23-y/o daughter, her best friend from ASU, and I stayed here over New Year's for one night. We bought the 4-bed room to ourselves. It was just four mattresses on the floor. This was a hostel with bare-bones amenities. The older lady who checked us in insisted we immediately remove our shoes, which frosted the girls, BUT the camaraderie... More
