As our taxi drove towards The Royale Chulan I prayed that this would be our hotel, it is absolutely beautiful. The architecture and style is so different to the other hotels around it. Hotel can best be desrcibed as elegant and regal. The outdoor appearance as well as indoor simply magnificent. Staff gave excellent service, hotel very well maintained and... More

Check-in process is smooth and the front desk staff are all helpful with smiling faces. The room is quite nice decorated in malaysian style. It's a big room with a comfy King size bed. The bathroom is huge also with both bath tub and showering. For the location, it took around 5-6 mins walk to the molorail station and there... More

Check in at this hotel should have been easy, booked for me in advance by the client. Took over half an hour, then the guy at the check in rechecked all the details form the online booking confirmation. When I finally got to the room none of the lamps worked and the engineer had to come trip a fuse box... More

Arrived at hotel around 9am. Have previously written by email that I would like twin beds and non smoking floor. Obviously, nothing was noted on my reservation as I was offered a king size bed for immediate checkin ( I booked direct to hotel online service ). No non smoking, twin bed available on arrival but told that there is... More

This is one of the better hotels I have stayed in ever. I booked a stay here on LateStays.com so I got a very good deal at RM290 a night. The rooms are traditionally decorated in Malay/Minangkabau style, very tastefully decorated and spacious. I have no idea how old the hotel is but it is definitely well maintained. The beds... More

We stayed at The Royale Chulan for 6 nights as a family. The service was exemplary, the room amazing, location perfect and swimming pool fantastic. Slightly disappointed by breakfast, but maybe only because we had been so spoilt by the amazing spread at the Bali Hyatt in Sanur, Bali.
