The pictures that were on the website that we booked showed the rooms to be immaculate and seemingly new. However, it seemed to be the classic use the pictures when the hotel was first built to advertise what we're selling. In saying that, the rooms were not that bad, just aging a little bit. They were very clean, flat screen... More

The hotel is just nearby the Chinatown and around 10 mins walk to the nearest LRT station. The room is big. However, the WIFI sucks! When we talked to the front desk staff about the wifi connection problem, he just asked us to re-connect again and we tried it many times, still failed.

I stayed in the Penthouse with 7 pax for 5 days 4 nights. Room was very spacious. The staff were very good and helpful. We did have minor hiccups with maintenance but everything was solved within that day. However breakfast was bad. No variety at all. We even skipped it. Location was great. Shopping areas are just seconds and minutes... More

We stayed at the hotel for just a few hours so we really don't feel that we stayed there at all. What strike me the most is that the front desk staff had no manners at all! It's a good thing that we we checked out, the front desk staff went home and a nicer one replaced him.

I was looking for a budget hotel conveniently located; instead of the usual "backpacker" options in Chinatown I decided to go "slightly" upmarket (no big difference in terms of price) and chose 5 Elements, right into Chinatown but in a somewhat bigger hotel that had a facelift not too long ago. In the end I got the best of both... More

I've stayed in a lot of hotels in SE Asia and this is probably the worst I've encountered, even my taxi driver from Sentral station said the 5 Elements was probably only a 2 star hotel. Had it not been for their 3 day cancellatin policy, and that they have my credit card details, I certainly would not be staying... More

Lovely lady on reception, other reception staff very pleasant. Rooms are a little dated but quite comfortable and spacious. Bathroom is good, beds comfortable. We were however very dissappointed with the included breakfast. The choice is very poor unless you are asian. I asked for poached eggs but not possible, only powdered scrambled eggs. No bacon, was no butter for... More

For me, whilst I never stayed at the hotel, based on their service.. I have to highly recommend it. My story. I was on a stopover in KL & I'd been on day trip, after which I walked into The 5 Elements Hotel to exchange money to get a taxi to get back to the airport .. when I found... More
