Spent a week in KL, initially only booked the first night here but saw no reason to leave. Suzy is a very knowledgeable and well-traveled lady. Felt very at home chatting with her in the pretty little courtyard area. If you need any advice about KL, be it transit, food or activities she is a wonderful source of information. And... More

I had a very pleasant stay here in the beginning of march 2014. Suzy (owner) took really good care of me and was so polite. The beds were made instantly and the rooms are very clean. Nice with a warm shower as well in the morning, and that goes for breakfast, which is included, as well. Very central location and... More

Everytime I am in KL I stay at this lovely hostel. It is in the center of KL, close to Bukit Bintang and Changkat, but in the night it is still very quiet. The rooms are nice and kept clean, also the shared bathrooms. If you stay in the dorm there is also a balcony which can be used. And... More

We really enjoyed the lovely welcoming place Travellers Palm. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. 10 minute walk from the petronas towers and near cheap restaurants. The owner gave a lot of useful information about how to travel around kuala lumpur the cheapest way. Don't be bothered by a windowless room, it keeps the noise from the big city outside!

Travellers Palm has two great assets, Suzie and the outdoor patio in downtown KL There is nothing that is too much trouble for Suzie, and she is always cheerful friendly and accommodating. The rooms are scrupulously clean, the beds comfortable, the showers work and deliver hot water whenever you want it, and the outdoor patio amidst palms and shrubs is... More

I really enjoyed my time at travellers palm! Was in an 8 bed dorm which was fine. Basic but with 3 fans and air con, no complaints! Free WiFi very good! Showers were nice and kept clean. Free basic breakfast available just toast and cereal, was great to start the day! Suzi is lovely and very helpful! I had to... More

Well, after many hours in a plane I arrived to this place really tired. I had reservation. The staff was really rude to me, especially when she figured out that I was from latino america. After that she ask me: please don't eat others people food or steal their staff.. The problem seems to be me, because I saw her... More

This guesthouse is in a great location near to bars, Julan Alor, the monorail. It's an easy walk to everything worth seeing and the garden is a nice place to rest once you've seen it all. Susie is friendly and helpful and her daughter is cute - make sure your art skills are up to scratch (my elephants just passed... More

It was our first time in Malaysia and we couldn’t have had a better start than in this guesthouse. The room was nice and big enough to fit two people + luggage. We had no window but it wasn’t bothersome because no window means no mosquitos. You can enjoy the basic, yet good, breakfast in the front yard and meet... More

This is a great cheap place close to the shopping area, restaurants and pubs of Bukit bingtang. Suzy is lovely and made me feel very welcome. The homestay is clean, though apart from the outside area, there isn't a place to socialise if it is raining. The bus station is a 10 minute walk and the MRT is 5 minutes away.... More
