Really enjoyed our stay here! Me and a friend shared a private twin room. The only complaint was that the pipes on our ceiling were leaking so our room (and everything we owned) overwhelming smelt like damp. Suzy was a great host. Really helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend

Owners very accommodating; first time I stayed, I arrived from KLIA at about 1am and Suzie still showed me around the hostel. Close to the bars of Changkat Bukit Bintang, but just off it and then down a little street, so it's quite peaceful even at night. Suzie helpful with directions and tips. Rooms are fine. Good night's sleep each... More

I switched from another hostel as they no longer had room and I wish I was here the whole time. I stayed a second time later in my travels. It's very clean and close to lots of amenities. It's down a quiet street and the owner is very relaxed and friendly. Full of useful information and tips about what to... More

I stayed one night in a dorm. The hostel was clean and the location is good for bars and shopping, but I didn't find it particularly welcoming. Suzy was not there when I arrived and her staff spoke not well English. There is no common room inside the house to meet other travellers. In the morning, they forgot to put... More

It was a good way to explore Kuala Lumpur with other backpacker friends. Travellers Palm proved to be a pretty decent hostel in KL city centre in Bukit Bintang, the trendy neighbourhood. Staff was nice and welcoming and the ground floor rooms were ok, with breakfast and air conditioner included for a cheap price. The negative aspects were definitely the... More

Spent a week in KL, initially only booked the first night here but saw no reason to leave. Suzy is a very knowledgeable and well-traveled lady. Felt very at home chatting with her in the pretty little courtyard area. If you need any advice about KL, be it transit, food or activities she is a wonderful source of information. And... More

I had a very pleasant stay here in the beginning of march 2014. Suzy (owner) took really good care of me and was so polite. The beds were made instantly and the rooms are very clean. Nice with a warm shower as well in the morning, and that goes for breakfast, which is included, as well. Very central location and... More

Everytime I am in KL I stay at this lovely hostel. It is in the center of KL, close to Bukit Bintang and Changkat, but in the night it is still very quiet. The rooms are nice and kept clean, also the shared bathrooms. If you stay in the dorm there is also a balcony which can be used. And... More

We really enjoyed the lovely welcoming place Travellers Palm. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. 10 minute walk from the petronas towers and near cheap restaurants. The owner gave a lot of useful information about how to travel around kuala lumpur the cheapest way. Don't be bothered by a windowless room, it keeps the noise from the big city outside!

Travellers Palm has two great assets, Suzie and the outdoor patio in downtown KL There is nothing that is too much trouble for Suzie, and she is always cheerful friendly and accommodating. The rooms are scrupulously clean, the beds comfortable, the showers work and deliver hot water whenever you want it, and the outdoor patio amidst palms and shrubs is... More
