This hotel is certainly a handy place to stay as it is actually in the JR Station concourse. so it was straight off the train into the hotel. Breakfast was in a local restaurant just outside the main entrance to hotel food was fine but not brilliant

As you have probably read other reviews, you already know this property's strategic location. Compared to standard businessmen hotels, the beds are much more comfortable here. They offer a breakfast package at an additional cost at the restaurant near the lobby. The hotel elevator will take you to the fifth floor restaurant row. Just a word of caution, don't leave... A great overnight stay. Rooms spotless and excellent value. I think we paid £45 a room a night. It was right by the train station great for our Shinkansen journey in the morning. Staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent laundry facilities and a great restaurant for a good breakfast. There is a shopping mall right next door and also has... More

I chose this hotel primarily because of its central location atop the main JR station: a super-convenient location for tourists to Nagasaki. The main sights (A-Bomb Museum and Memorial) are north (2.6 km), while Glover Park is an equivalent distance beyond the entertainment district (15 minutes' walk south of hotel). The JR station includes an Information Center (maps and helpful... More

Amazing location in the building of Nagasaki railway station but very silent hotel... in the same building you can find shopping center with restaurants and supermarket. Rooms are bigger than japanese standart, beds are great, breakfast service is proveded by RoyalHost restaurant next to the hotel ... Hotel is in great location when you want to join Hashima/Gunkanjima tour ...... More

This hotel is an ideal one for a short stay. You simply leave the train station walk to an escalator and there it is one floor up. Apart from the train station there is the tram service opposite and a large shopping mall area on the ground floor. The rooms are clean and compact and the higher the floor the... More

The hotel's location is its greatest benefit. It is right at the Nagasaki train station which is next to AMU mall and the tram cars run on the facing street. The rooms are clean and bright and our deluxe twin room was spacious but the bathroom was the ubiquitous raised floor one piece pod. The window opens and our view... More

You cannot find a better location, It is right at the top of JR station and the mall. Terminal for long distance bus is just across the road connected via a footbridge. Room condition is excellent, very clean. Room size is not as small as in business hotels in bigger cities. My room has open view across the railway and... More

The JR Hotel in Nagasaki is perfectly situated. It is attached to the JR Station. It is also attached to the AMU Plaza shopping centre so everything you need is right there. Trams all over the city stop across the street. The hotel itself is new, clean and modern. Our room was one of the larger hotel rooms we had... More

The JR Kyushu Nagasaki was the most convenient hotel in my recent Kyushu trip. I just had to drag my luggage 30m from the JR Nagasaki station, and up the escalator to reach the hotel lobby. After a long train journey, I was able to check in straight away at 12 noon, much earlier than their stated check-in time as... More
