Out of all the hotels on our weeks stay on Kyshu this was probably the best. The receptionists were helpful and efficient and spoke English well which was a rare pleasure on Kyushu. The rooms were decorated nicely and the hotel had a feel of quality about it. Hotel has a convenience store practically beside it as well as a... More

Great location. Great rooms. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Good security (elevator & room key cards). BS TV channels in Japanese, but no cable or English channels.

Compared to Fukuoka there aren't that many selections of hotel. I found a great rate online and was very happy to find a rare deal on a 3 day weekend. it was a semi-double room bed for 2 people. I was very disappointed by how small the room was and how small the bed was... 2 females in one bed,... More

My partner and I stayed there two nights at the beginning on March. The staff was helpful, the two separate-beds' (my request) room was comfortable--though there was no view from the window except the next building--no trouble with the TV, and the breakfast was rich and varied, a Japanese and well as Western style. The WI-Fi was nevertheless very slow... More

Located in a quiet part of town near the nineteenth-century European quarter, it’s a 10 to 15 minute walk to the happening part of the city and one block to the #1 tram line which, with one change, will take you to the railway station or north to the Peace Park. The Gunkanjima cruise wharf is just a few steps... More

A truly great or good hotel or business of any kind includes understanding and reasonable management. A hotel especially needs to show a reasonable degree of warmth and sympathy. This is especially true when the price for the hotel is fairly expensive given the modest location, small room, small bed, and no breakfast included.

My family and I stayed for three days. What we liked: 1. Being able to buy day passes for trams at the reception. 2. Spacious room What we did not like 1. Staff were not very welcoming or helpful towards non-Japanese speaking guests. 2. Lack of eating options nearby for families (other than the Café Gusto). 3. Having to pay... More

Nice, spacious and clean "western" hotel, a bit outside the city center.  However you'll be close to the Dutch Slopes and Glower Garden and the tram to take you into the center of town.  We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. If your a late sleeper you can go to the bakery F:labo. They open at 10, are located 25... More

It was very beautiful and unique place to stay our family. We've been satisfied with all things especially reasonable price & very kind service. We are eager to go back if we had a chance to stay nagasaki again.

We loved this hotel for many reasons. It played on the european influence in Nagasaki, which made the decor warm and very different than what you would normally find in Japan. Also, the hotel was geographically right inbetween China Town and Glover Gardens, which was perfect. It was lovelier to stay in a neighborhood rather than buy the busy train... More
