Clean and modern rooms, bathroom is big enough for one only but a decent shower to freshen up. A good nights rest in a comfortable bed. TV Channels are all local so good job for the excellent WIFI connection which is free. The best breakfast selection I've had in Japan with a great selection of both local and western items.... More

A little room for small and supple people with a tiny, tiny, bathroom. A safe, but for use by contortionists only. Instructions - lie on tummy if you can fit between the beds, twist head to a 90 degree angle and crane you neck to read numbers. Congratulations! You can now store your ipad (but nothing else) The pluses -... More

The New Nagasaki hotel has an excellent location, right at the train station, and across the street from the bus station (there are elevators up and down to the pedestrian bridge if you have a lot of luggage). The convenient tram system is also right there. The hotel is attached to a large shopping mall, with a grocery store on... More

The room has strong carpet smell, we booked for 3 nights in July 2013 and I was coughing every night because of bad smell. The toilet was not bright, fan did not work, the toilet paper is always half wet. The only good part is hotel room is very big and the location is right next to Nagasaki station.

We were booked into this hotel on a B&B basis. The restaurant is on the top level and has great views down the harbour. Food was good, both western and Japanese choice available. The room was great, very comfortable, quiet and clean. Staff were great, very helpful, but with limited English. Being right at the station was very convenient as... More

This hotel was good but not great. It is a little older, the rooms are satisfactory and it has a good central location. As is often the case in Japan the staff were very helpful. As part of a tour it was a quite acceptable hotel.

Our room was at front of hotel and we experienced moderate street noise, plus a bit from hallways (doors closing). Double beds - hard by our standards. water heater with tea (no coffee); PJ's and slippers provided; A/C hard for us to regulate. TV had BBC english channel. Could not connect to internet in room. No pool or gym. Breakfast... More

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night in December. The reception people were courteous and helpful. The room was spacious though a bit dated. Had some problems with LAN access initially but was assisted by hotel staff fairly quickly. We had a room facing the main road and so it was a bit noisy at night. Would have been better... More

Our first night stay on a recent Kyushu trip was with New Nagasaki Hotel. As this is a non-peak travel period we understand that we were able to get good value-for-money from our tour package. The hotel is just beside AMU Plaza/Seiyu Shopping Centre and the JR Nagasaki Station. Places of interest like the Peace Garden and Atomic Bomb Museum... More
